Same situation. I have 3 kiosk discs and more coming.

>3. And how about the result of the other blu-ray drive (if you have)?

I have a LITE-ON IHBS112 which is listed as PS4 compatible, this is the only BD-Drive I have.

Here's a file in one of the disc root which seems to be a catalog of the discs contents (not sure if it's useful info): https://pastebin.com/CbwLr4UF

Note: I bought a retail disc on ebay to confirm I can get reliable checksums with that, will help us narrow down the issue.

I dumped with ISO Buster twice, different checksums and different sizes both times, discs are in flawless condition.

>DVD-Rom

I dumped a PS2 DVD and it matched, so that's fine. Also for whatever release a "DMI.bin" and "PFI.bin" output along with it as if it were an xbox game...

>BD-ROM, BD-R

I don't have any of these / any PS4 retail games to check.

PS4 Kiosk discs (dev discs?) are dumping with different checksums each time.

When dumping ps4 kiosk disc with a LITE ON IHBS112 hooked up via UGREEN external adapter.

PS: even though the DIC.exe is in a DICUI folder i did it all via command line.

So it seems for these discs whenever you dump them you get a new working key. Same disc, same console, different key. CAT-R's must have a series of keys that work, possibly universally - what works for one CAT-R disc works for all(?)

Great update!

>- added: SESSION syntax in cue file
>- fixed: TOC of multi session disc

Does this mean Jaguar CD is now dumpable? wasn't it just a multisession thing holding it bacK?

DICUI development has been booming with darksabre76 adding a ton of updates, fresh off from a major ReignStumble update:

Here are some feature highlights:

  • * edccchk now run on all CD-Roms
    * Discs unsupported by Windows are now recognized
    * Automatic drive speed selection
    * Add ability to stop a dump from the UI
    * Automatic submission information creation

The last bullet in particular is an incredibly helpful feature. It now aggregates all info from the logs into a submission template.

I'm guessing this is to use Redump as a reference.

Tested with latest stable and latest test.

Not for DVD-Video DRM.

DIC can dump DVD-Video without DRM, but definitely check. If no DRM shows up in DVD-Decrypter, then you're safe to dump with DIC. Most bonus discs do not have DRM.

Pretty sure all the current DVD-Rom dumping guides specify that this guide should be used: http://wiki.redump.org/index.php?title= … ping_Guide

It's possible to use DIC, but I think you have to play it in VLC first? Even then DIC doesn't output the keys so you'll need to refer to that guide anyway

Why not polish the disc?

The problem is that DIC was spitting out no C2 errors when some of the dumps were clearly bad...

I've had this happen before too. Eventually I was able to get a match for a rom found on the internet (and later someone verified my dump).

To recap: dumped a few different times with different checksums, no c2 errors after rereads. Disc was clearly scratched.

Here it is: https://tacogirl.com/cd-eating-fungus-i … from-salt/

A chemical reaction is likely to be a more likely explanation, or the top layer finally decided to flake off.

FYI I just chatted with Beliskner on the Discord, he's looking into getting another PS3 console to dump with, but could also be a huge help building our miss list for PS3 PAL if he had dumper status :3

I'm in touch with a dumper about dumping some rare 3DO discs including Dinopark Tycoon, the disc is perfectly clean but he is getting c2 errors on this disc when dumping with DIC. Schrodinger said 3DO discs have had issues with DIC in the past,, here are the logs https://www.dropbox.com/s/uql7n11i9iiqk … 9.zip?dl=0
