generally,
data side = Layer0
cover side = Layer1
if you examine the ring codes using a magnifying glass they are burned/ached on different sides of the disc.
mould code from the data side belongs to layer0, label side to layer1.
ps2/psx/psp discs or generally discs which have a "dummy" ring code should be added using the layer1 line for this information.
i hope everything is clarified now )
usurper wrote:So if there is just one ring info per disc i have to leave the second line empty right?
yes )
usurper, i think you misunderstand the meaning of the ring fields in edit form:
each unique ring hast two rows, the first one is layer0 or CD/DVD5, the second row is for layer1 or discs with extra ring information.
I guess you can submit them as Chinese dumps, there are just 9 Japanese dumps as far.
Try to check the languages if possible.
those are DVD-Videos, they have a different format than VCD/SVCD, thats why they were pressed on a DVD and not CD.
you can append some dummy data in the end, let it decrypt, and resize again to the original size if needed.
IIRC, the only way to dump it is to use WII drive = on WII.
Thought, I would list them all officially, as some of You might not notice it else
Acorn Archimedes CD
NEC PC-88 series CD
NEC PC-FX / PC-FXGA
Sharp X68000 CD
SNK Neo Geo CD
Tandy / Memorex Visual Information System
Tao iKTV CD
Tomy Kiss-Site CD
VM Labs NUON DVD
VTech V.Flash CD
to add the subchannel support is not the biggest issue,
we need a tool to read subchannels first, if it has been released i will be glad to add subs feature.
and i do have 2 jaguar games, so i could contribute something also
edit: plus bought a "Myst" Demo for jaguar right now
Got 2 different 3DO releases, the one without version number is an UK version, the other one bought in Germany. However both versions contain English language only, are marked as an English release and have the same EAN code. So i think there should be an UK release matching the German one. Anyway, i marked the one with version string as German region until we can match it with an other UK/Euro release.
Actually, it was a nice surprise for me, as i never expected to find 2 different 3DO releases
Tabulator character = ASCII code (9)
Some examples:
http://redump.org/disc/17151/ > "T-13203H01 *1S* MADE IN USA"
http://redump.org/disc/17043/ > "*3S* T-8133H-50"
http://redump.org/disc/18020/ > "*3S* 51128 AF.9.51128 B"
http://redump.org/disc/17365/ > "%SOULFIGHTER Z9B18C"
http://redump.org/disc/17468/ > "MK-51021-0018SS EMI CD HOLLAND @ 3"
http://redump.org/disc/19213/ > "CDD7062 R880DCED(2) ∙ IFPI L123 ∙ MASTERED BY NIMBUS ∙"
http://redump.org/disc/20829/ > "Sony DADC A0100386089-A511 17"
Generally replacing two and more white space signs with a tabulator.
those are promo discs, not very rare.
usually matching the original releases, beta disc could differ from original though.
the dumping guide is available here >> http://forum.redump.org/topic/2620/drea … tructions/
you will need a special drive, check the 2nd post for known supported drives.
were you submitting it without the leading 4-digits and the double colon? >> "03?? :"
i can update the parser to allow submissions for the raw data only (no leading and trailing stuff)
...to the latest version (1.3.5)
Lets hope for some real improvements

Alternatively you can upload your raw file here for example -> http://en.webhex.net/upload
and copy the required string out of it's output.
Does somebody have a RAW "CleanRip" output for BCA data? Need it to make a parser, thanks in advance!

they all are on separate medias? if so, then its probably best to name them by their own title names, as some may match the original releases.
the editions could be called:
LEGO Suite XP 1 (Volume 1 ?)
Top 10 Games XP 1 (Volume 1 ?)
the boxes still have a note: Revison 0.1 (?)
We aren't supporting the sharing of any illegal stuff here, and you can probably imagine the question "why?" yourself
I think you discussed that already in irc, why then ask it again here now? mankind!
gamecaptor wrote:DISC_VERSION: 2.00
i am not sure, never dumped a psp disc, but this looks like a different version to me.
redumped almost 200 discs myself => no differences
redumps by other members ~100 => no differences
so, the pre-fixed values can be trusted to 99.9% => therefore all remaining yellow discs were set back to blue only again
