CD + DVD yes. Here is a list of redump approved drives and whether or not they're CD or both CD/DVD: http://wiki.redump.org/index.php?title= … ead_Speeds

Plextor blu-rays do not do CD-Rom properly.

Welcome pool7. It's dizzzy smile

Redump generates it's own .sbi's from the libcrypt info, just submit libcrypt info and you will have a .sbi when it is added to the database.

Is HL-DT-ST UH12NS30 still a drive that works for PSX dumping and DIC? I have a friend with PS1 & PS2 code discs that has one and is interested in dumping. I guess it just can't read big offsets "(Combined Offset minus disc only)"?

Shouldn't be a problem for unlicensed discs, which usually how a low or no offset.

99 times out of 100 same serial = same checksums when it comes to PSX / PS2. Also "spanish import" may be misinformed. I would trust the serial number smile

Funny, right now I'm buying up a bunch of Nordic games. They are all localized for kids - so it's like dropping 15 euro per disc on Disney games...

Thanks guys. I've researched Teletubbies too and agree it probably doesn't exist.

BTW there's a list of removed games demos on the talk page http://wiki.redump.org/index.php?title= … sing_Games

For reference, I've done a good deal of research before removing all things.

Thanks for the info.

I agree it probably doesn't exist. I believe if it existed more info would be available on it. PSX Datacenter is a great reference site, but it is sometimes inaccurate and I have seen other non-existent games listed on there.

I've updated the wiki noting that the game "Probably doesn't exist." and I'll look further into it another time. Thanks again smile

Awesome! Definitely need help with PSX Spain. I'll send you a message when your account is approved. Do you have a Plextor drive?

If you're using DIC with /c2 then there's no real need to dump twice.

Good to know. I'm going to remove two dumps from the guide then. No point in wasting people's time and making it more complicated than necessary.

So would these properly dump in DIC with a Plextor?

Also do GDRoms properly dump in DIC with a Plextor? I haven't found any info on this and the wiki guide isn't for DIC.

Sarami if that disc is only 180 yen and has cheap shipping buy it, test it / dump it, and I'll paypal you a refund... assuming the format is relevant to redump.org

Mil-CD - https://segaretro.org/Mil-CD

Interesting...

ajshell, here's the CD dumping guide: http://wiki.redump.org/index.php?title= … e_Creator)

It includes info on how to use psxt001z and edcccccccchk. That is where you should be getting exe date info, edc info, etc... assuming you have a compatible Plextor.

dizzzy aka user7 smile I'm in touch to make sure he knows how to redump properly

Lol, it might be cheaper for you to get an internal drive anyway. xTMODx found some older desktop drives for cheap, did you ever buy those?

Another one snatched up at a high price. I threw $45 bids on the rest, putting them out of mind. I have a feeling whoever is buying them is planning to try to resell at a higher price in the future. We'll see if any of my bids land.

This is my homie Will. He has many PS2 discs on the miss list and will have a Plextor in a couple days.

Welcome Will! (it's me dizzzy)

Ouch, someone outbid me at 46$ on the one that just ended.

Ok, I will bid on one for you too if you cover price and shipping. I will bid maximum of 45$ on each drive and if I buy multiple drives I will sell for an average of the cost + shipping to me (which seller will combine shipping). I hope that means I will be able to resell the drives to you guys (without profit) for around $35-40 each (before shipping costs to you).
