Replace English with American English and British English and go through 80,000 releases to figure out which dialect should be assigned to each release.

>Out of curiosity, does anyone else use a specific IDE to USB adapter for the drives that can dump GD-ROMs?

Yes, bad IDE adapters will FRY your drives, they might not fry them right away either which makes you wonder if that's why your drive stopped working.

"Kingwin IDE to USB" on Amazon is cheap but VERY GOOD because they got voltage regulated perfect. Another good one is search "UGREEN USB to IDE Converter, USB 3.0 to IDE" - more expensive, but nicer looking, I've had one of these fail on me but it didn't fry my drive.

It sounds like you might be the foremost expert on this subject, so ... if it's ever going to happen will probably be you doing it.

If you go for it, good luck! Easier Dreamcast dumping would be awesome!

>Mastering Code is different. Simply, it's another version? I'm not sure.

Different than in redump, but that is not what i'm talking about. The DIC dump is considered bad - see http://forum.redump.org/topic/44992/wip … lightning/

Hi sarami, a month or so back a dic dump I submitted on behalf of CDO was been rejected, see - http://forum.redump.org/topic/44992/wip … lightning/

The logs for a dump of Blue Lighting can be found here - redumped with the latest DIC build (it still has the same rejected hashes as the previous dump) https://archive.org/download/bluelightning-jag-cd

Interestingly, the hashes are different than those of the redumper app (logs for which are also present in this archive entry).

Actually in hindsight, I'm getting dcdumper with ICE.exe - for which we don't have source code (thus I can't properly fix my System 2 dump http://forum.redump.org/topic/41632/dc- … ice-error/ )

I wish, I have tried to reach themabus in the past, no luck.

Is there any reason to believe it doesn't match this dump? http://redump.org/disc/33796/

If not, then I wouldn't go through the trouble. Otherwise you can always get discs resurfaced.

Hi Alicia,

3DS (cartridges) fall into No-Intro territory - https://forum.no-intro.org/index.php

For the Wii U - presuming the dev build comes on a Disc, redump would dat that.

Correct, just use disc image creator, for system select Dreamcast and format CD-Rom.

I found a bug with bd-r dumping.
See the dats for the below dumps - the hashes are the same but the sizes in the dats are different. In this instance the "WITH avdp" is the correct size for both dumps:

NOT with avdp flag: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_HK0BI … sp=sharing
WITH avdp flag: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BRS5RE … sp=sharing

sarami, i dumped a few BD-Rs (PS4 kiosk discs). One of the titles I get a dump error on - but i dumped twice and the iso's batch, is it possible the dump is good?

https://github.com/Zarh/ManaGunZ/issues/104

My system is completely locking up when I try to dump the GetKey info. I hope this can be resolved, if ManaGunZ can work out the bugs then we can remove the old convoluted dumping method from the wiki.

Additionally some discs have "Side A" and "Side B".

Thanks, has this affected all recent x360 dumps or just specific discs then?

sarami - any chance you could add functionality to DIC to transform dense.bin to a proper Track 03.bin?

Possible to look into this sarami?

708s and 716s are somewhat common. i dont really care about dump speed. they're fine.

http://redump.org/downloads/

"Sega Titan Video" should be removed as it's just cartridges from what I can find.

"Tao iKTV" is just VCD and should be removed from the list too.

If its released in Brazil and USA, an "Americas" region seems like it could be appropriate? Afterall most South American releases match USA with a handful of exceptions. Ultimately redump is poorly equipped to denote multiple regions in entries and is in desperate need of an overhaul.

I still dont get this.

Test the ss.bins? If they have use (to access online servers?) then just test the files and see if they work.
