yup, but via the lists in the wiki we have the possibility of having them in the no intro naming convention already, its not a lot but it helps people when they have a game dumped, dont use cmprlmame and want to tag the image of their game like that

it also lets us seperate games from demos, applications  means with those lists we know exactly how many demos or games are dumped.

gbk

@mrfaust

the sonyindex is great, fur ps2 games it seems only those made before 2005 are in it tough.

They are already linked. On every site of the wiki. There is this "something" called a navigation box.  The list of missing games is not more important as the dumping guides, links to dumping tools and whatnot.

The purpose of the main page or introduction page is to give people a fast glimpse of what they can expect in the wiki.

greets, gbk

thanks for the heads up ^^

we still need people which would mainting lists in the wiki for those systems tough, (i do ps2 and nothing else)

you are welcome to take care on the psx stuff

SLUS-01154    King of Fighters - Evolution
shouldnt be in the unreleased ones, it was just a typo/mistake  by sony back then, the game is released and has the name King of Fighter`s 99

i continue taking care of the wiki in the sections ps2 and dumping tools + useful links

could use help with the dumping guides.

we have no pc missing list of course amarok and its more or less a shame that i was needed to bring some use to the wiki. that should have been the duty of redump staffler`s.

whatever, important is only that the wiki has purposes now and is getting useful

for the first time 1000 dumps in just a month and a few days.

the gamecube us set is soon complete as the first redump retail game set ever,

with the help of the donators it seems we get the psx us set together in 2010 as well. just around 450 missing games now.

Remember that we were at 7000 dumps a year ago.

.....

ahhhh

"B" games added

List gets updated from time to time. i will use hddx donations every month to buy missing games, mostly games starting with letter "A" now. But..pheew...for these over 70 missing games i calculate more then 600 euro alone.

Awesome news, i have still around 5 Games to add this month at least ^^

hope we get 10000 or more together in 2009!

...and see the most of them later on HDDX

it would be helpful. yes. or a new userclass  ..like of dumpers which dumped at least 25 games . those would be experienced enough to edit their dumps if its needed

woah, nice to see support by you people

i ll work on updating the Guide via the hddx forum and hopefully with the help of some redumpers since my english isnt perfect as well and i m not really a dumping pro beside psx and ps2 smile

i would like to work with you on guides in german.. based on the redump guide but also "updated" by us if nobody from the staff has the time for it at the moment

Hi all,

how about we work together to get the faqs about dumping the games online in different languages?

I bet its normal for around 6 of 10 people here to understand english, but as someone born in germany it would be easier and more comfortable to me to be able to read them in german as well. And especially people from countries like france, spain, poland, italy and some other european countries have often big problems since they didnt learn english in school.

This weekend i ll try to translate the psx and ps2 faqs into german to post those faqs in the forum of HDDX. Since about 40% of the users there arent redumpers or were never on redump.org before i believe those faqs might help to get some of them to support our common goal to get more and more games dumped.

Hope to get some people here to translate those faqs as well.

to see all 8000 dumps on HDDX is my personal goal.

So far we are at around 1100 there. I will continue dumping ps2 games and i am buying one ps2 pal game starting with letter "Z" after another now to get all 14 released ps2 pal Z games together for redump

thanks to donations we could buy 2 ps2 us games also which are getting dumped after we received them

10000 dumps are a good goal and i hope my personal dumps can be more then 100 until december. Thanks to everyone else who dumped games for redump.org

Cheers, GBK http://www.greensmilies.com/smile/smiley_emoticons_pirat5.gif

Also some Gamecube games have a "only UK" release. Looking at DB you can see these ones have a serial ending with -UKV and quite most of them have also a different multi Euro release.
This is something that begins with previous console generation just to have a release for every language.
If a tag must be used it's better to choose "UK" if we are into no-intro.

yeah, most of em.. but some were just released in england/UK..and those are the games which should have the UK tag

If there are any games released in England only, just create a (England) tag and use it when it's necessary. I don't know what's the problem with that.

For the systems I'm directly involved with, the totality of PAL English-only games are whole-Europe release. As far as my part in the database goes, (E) is de facto ALWAYS (Europe). (E) = (England) is STILL nonsense for 99% of the cases.

If some PS1/PS2 games are England only, the dumper/adder will mark it as such when the tag is available.

only those tags are avaiable , thats my problem

bout 20-30 ps2 pal games were released in the UK only. thats less then 1 percent of all pal ps2 games of course but its for sure more  as the :  Ukraine,Sweden,Russia, Greece, Finland,Czech, Brazil

so..if those tags are possible for ps2 games. an UK/england tag should be  avaiable as well.

there are only 5-10 sweden only ps2 pal games as example btw
bout 5 psx greece only/language games for psx but as far as i know not evne one greek only game was released for the ps2.

There were indeed Games only released for the UK Market.

A few Football/Soccer Games come to mind for the PSX. UK Versions of Singstar which had Songs of UK Musicartist which were unknown in other Countries.

Like there were some Rugby Games only released in Australia  around 35 Games were released for the english market only.

And by that i dont mean Europe, only england.

So, our No-Intro based tagging is based of the region the game was released in, righty?

If we all really want to stick to that naming convention then it means that Games only released in England get their own Tag as well.

Like Germany, Spain,Italy etc got their own Ps2 Singstar Games . England got unique versions as well.

another ps2 and UK only game was The X-Factor: Sing , a england "idol" version and bout ten-15 more ps2 uk games
