I have two copies of this game and dumped them 3 times. Everything matches the database except the crc for track1. It might be a new variety, but everything else matches so it may also be a mistake.

This is what I get:
Serial: SLUS-00831
EXE date: 1999-07-21
Edition: Original
EDC: No
Anti-modchip: No
LibCrypt: No
Write offset: -647

Track1:

crc 662e258c

sha1 7d087454a1a48c9e16c80c46c8e4052203aa139b

2 second gap

Track2:
size 32104800
crc 9b94ea54
md5 65aea234c174ee35fb574d981fe3fc4f

How many errors does your Track 1 have? (CDMage)

I'm not familiar with the procedure for checking error count, but if you mean to use 'Action> Scan for errors' in CDMage, it returns 'Image has no errors"

Hmm, then your image has no errors. The one in the database has two.

Either the dump in the database is bad (it is green lighted, though) or possibly there was a run of the game with errors. Hopefully tossEAC sees this and can check his disc again.

I inform tossEAC about this problem. Now we must wait.

I'll check it out later, I also have two masters of this game, and they are in mint condition.

The SPICE must flow.

Ha, I wouldn't put it past me to be making some stupid mistake.
If your re-test matches the database, maybe we can swap remotediffs or something and figure out what the difference is smile

Sorry about the delay.

Sorry about the bad dump. Hopefully this is what you wanted to see. I have only dumped one of my discs so far. I have to go out now but will dump the other and a load of new psx, and I am going to redump all of my psx, and dump my Saturn. This has given me the urge to do so. As I have just built a PC for CD based dumping, with a couple of Plextor drives in it to make it easier.

Sorry about the bad dump, glad it was spotted.

I dumped this twice last time of two discs and got the same two errors both discs.

Obviously a complete "bag of crap drive" was to blame. smile Not ME. hee (sorry) he.

He who controls the SPICE... controls the UNIVERSE!
The SPICE must flow.

I've submitted some bad dump info due to plain 'human error' on my part and I've also submitted a bad dump caused by 'hardware' issues. I think it's 'to be expected' that errors will happen when we deal with so many different disks and hardware combos. I'm just glad Redump's database is set up in a way that will catch most of the problems eventually smile

Here's the 'ring' info from my disk if anyone wants to add it:
IFPI 5031 502F

Also, the errors count still needs to be changed to 0.

I've posted a remotediff of the image with 2 corrupt sectors and was wondering if someone can post a patch to get the new "correct" dump for the data track as I would like the correct dump.....seems the audio was correct so no problem
