.

Almost ready with another batch of ~10 SSv2. I'm willing to help add to the site. Just PM me.

Hi, here are my uncleaned SSv2 that I have atm of missing or SSv1 in db, would have to redump to get more. Inside the archive is the DMI,PFI,SS,XMB log, abgx360 iso log & a ringcode list of the disc's. Let me know if anything else is needed. PM if you want.

There is this line, might be the reason:

Although the 66 GB and 100 GB BD-ROM discs used for Ultra HD Blu-ray use the same linear density as BDXL, the two formats are not compatible with each other, therefore it is not possible to use a triple layer BDXL disc to burn an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc playable in an Ultra HD Blu-ray player.

Hi, trying to dump with DIC the US version of Xbox One Ryse - Son of Rome (Europe) http://redump.org/disc/56587/

IsoBuster dumps the disc correctly but DIC underdumps the disc while using the latest DIC test version

DIC logs: https://mega.nz/file/e9gVDSSZ#9cM5I3Lfi … cCqTx72f4Y

Note: This disc is UDF 1.02. Dumped an UDF 1.50 Xbox One disc & IsoBuster & latest DIC test version matched.
For reference, UDF 1.50 DIC logs https://mega.nz/file/4SQnGYTa#F4pTOQ5lf … vEiwZ5maTA

The log looks good (weird seeing the drive key though, my logs don't have that). Recommend to first dump a game already on redump to see if it matches because "flashed back a stock firmware".

Also you can dump a 2nd time to see if your hashes match each other.

A read error should occur shortly after starting the dump. This is normal. Check the box "Apply zero fill to all remaining sector errors." and click the "Zero-Fill Sector(s)" button.

This is for OG Xbox only.

For Xbox 360, if any errors, the error(s) has to be "error recovered" or the dump will be bad.

Not 100% sure. Think it's only for OG Xbox & no effect on x360 discs.

Yes i read this, but it it started dumping, and is dumping now for like 11 minutes just with errors

This gave me the impression you were dumping OG Xbox.

For Xbox 360, if error says "Block error recovered" it should be OK. Also should take 15-25min to dump.

Also

i also cant seem to uncheck the use sector mapper (xbox One)

can only be checked/unchecked with OG Xbox disc inserted.

If I remember correctly, Xbox 1 dumping with 0800 drive takes about 45min+ & number of errors has to be 65,536 (security sectors), if there is more than 65,536 errors, then it is a bad dump.

The mode of the last 4th sector is changed. If this disc is securom, it's correct.

Was finally able to create a working Alcohol mds file this disc & parsed it with DIC.

Added log to _subinfo.txt. If there is random error(s) in LBA -1 sector, it's difficult to detect.

New _subinfo.txt log:

All other output files are the same except for _subError.txt

Hi, dumping 'Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Colonization' that I thought would match http://redump.org/disc/45410/ but is not. Has the same size and PVD date but different hash. DIC, DICUI, Burnout find no protection but ProtectionID & Alcohol 120 find it has SecuROM. My copy's Mastering Code is different only at the end with HO61602 instead of HT78305. Installed & yes it has SecuROM. Followed to redumping with 2 drives & 4 different DIC releases.
20200122 => No protection found
20200102 => No protection found
20180419 => SecuROM detected but only 1 MSF line listed in _subIntention.txt
20160602 => No protection found

All get the same hash.

Worked. Dumped with no false detection of SecuROM.

(3,508 replies, posted in General discussion)

Redumped with latest test DIC. Dump completed and hashes match older DIC & CloneCD.

Question: DIC reads the disc as having SecuROM with 1 line in the subIntention.txt but no other program finds any protection. Is DIC reading a false positive on the SecuROM protection?

, Having problems dumping a coverdisc with DIC.

Dumped with DIC test branch from 20180515.
DIC finds

Detected intentional subchannel in LBA -1 => SecuROM Type 4 (a.k.a. NEW)

after completing, subIntention.txt only has 1 line

MSF: 00:01:74 Q-Data: 410100 00:00:00 00 00:01:74 0121

tested bin file for protection & errors:
ArayScanner2023, BurnOut1.03, ProtectionID v6.9.0 find no protection.
edccchk-v1.26-win32 finds 0 errors.

SecuROM should have 1 error? correct?

Dumped with CloneCD and bin, cue match DIC's so dump is fine but sub's incorrect?

Just tried latest test DIC,

Trying to dump a new disc not in redump's db. Star Wars - Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast (USA) published by Cosmi Software. Purchased brand new.

Picture's of disc & DIC logs: https://mega.nz/#F!UP4wCJgK!4BcBoGTomFMnzuK4123Sxg

Think disc is bad but want to double check its not some kind of protection.

Was able to install & play. Tried to dump with DIC and getting c2 errors before aborts with

Created img (LBA) 76513/350592[F:ProcessReadCD][L:1489] GetLastError: 121, The semaphore timeout period has expired.

Please wait for 40000 milliseconds until the device is returned

Tried with command "DiscImageCreator.exe cd J: game.bin 2 /c2" & "DiscImageCreator.exe cd J: game.bin 2 /sf /c2 3 /d8 /ns /s 2" 2nd command found "Detected intentional subchannel in LBA -1 => SecuROM Type4 (a.k.a. NEW)" but no other program I tried found any protection, just disc is overburned (824,594,736 bytes).

Other programes that I tried to dump disc are:
Alcohol 120 (found no protection, so used default copy option) - 0 errors per edccchk-v1.26-win32
CloneCD with recommended settings - 3486 errors
CdManipulator with recommended settings - 2176 errors.

Also, .iso? or should it be .wud
