Checking the archive of v7 I'm getting a virus / malware alert: Pynamer.A!ac!?
is there an issue with kreon 1.0 drives and xbox backup creator build 425?
it crashes after writing about 800kb (this program has stopped responding...)
the previous build - 345 - doesn't have "build clean iso" but seems to work fine (still crosschecking my dumps and redump)
does the ss_sector_range & freecell technique produce correct xbox360 dumps? or just for xbox (original) discs?
Using a Kreon 1.0 with XBC .425 for XBOX works fine, for XBOX360 you need a 0800v3 firmware, I'm using it on a Lite-On DG-16D2S.
Sector range is needed for both, freecell is XBOX ripping only.
Seems like dizzzy is redumps best advertising!
You'll need a Pioneer BDR-208D, maybe others work too.
Then simply dumping the image with IsoBuster.
That's all!
Thanks for the guide user7 and Enker for the informations!
DVD wasn't even copy protected...
Did you play it for a few seconds using VLC before dump?
Nope, I didn't. Should I? Nothing about it in the wiki.
In the meantime ImgBurn did the job, dump matches the db.
Hi,
any good advices for dumping them?
DIC doesn't seem to work for me, either with a 712A nor 2 different 716A using the command
DiscImageCreator.exe dvd f: gowii_bonus.iso 8 /c
TIA
Amiga CD32 hardware is based on the A1200, CDTV on A500. AmigaCD in general could be used on Amiga systems from A500 to A4000, only limit are the single programs with their hardware requirements.
Most CD32 titles can also be played on an AGA system with Kick 2.0 and above, CDTV software can be used on an OCS with Kick 1.3 (of course who would plug a SCSI-adapter to the ZORO of an A500?? )
So I think F1ReB4LL is right, CDTV and CD32 compatible software should not be labeled as AmigaCD.
I also used
https://www.amazon.de/Inateck-Universal … de+adapter
works fine with IDE, but had problems with SATA drives, so I sent it back.
Hey guys I've got two Plextor PX-716A drives that show up when plugged in under "My Computer" but PSX or PS2 discs are not appearing and Windows says the drive has no media.
I have the drives hooked up via a IDE > USB Adapter (including a power supply). On a laptop with Windows 10 64bit edition. I've tried "updating drivers" via Device Manager but says Windows has the latest drivers installed. I've already manually assigned a drive letter.
Anyone have experience with an external Plextor drive on Windows 10 that can shine some light or confirm they had no issues with a similar setup?
I'm using a similar configuration without problem, maybe it's a fault of the usb-adapter:
Windows 10
UGreen USB IDE Adapter (https://www.amazon.de/UGREEN-Adapter-Ko … er+usb+3.0)
Plextor PX-716A
Done most of my dumps with it, works fine.
This redump.org/disc/44726 appears to be an Amiga version of Quake.
Does somebody know what system it was released for? AmigaCD or AmigaCD32 ?
There is no system indicator on the cover or disc itself.
It has to be AmigaCD.
I played the port of Quake on Amiga years go having a Blizzard PPC: http://amiga.resource.cx/expde/blizzardppc.
As F1ReB4LL said, CD32 was to weak to handle this game.
Aaah....WevArchive, should have come in my mind!
Thanks for the hint!!
Link to CDTools is dead, would someone reup it please?
Many thanks!!
