the price stands still by 10.50 euros, if you are clever, you can buy it very reasonably cool (1 day to go)

Now I have bought one to the reserve, for less than 40 euros tongue

So far, you have made everything right, with an exception: you have not to add 588 samples to the combined r/w offset of each disc, because discs have different pressings.

There are different methods to find out gap length and offsets, but you should use the simplest one till you have better know how.

1. Use EAC gap detection function to find out second track gap length -> "in most cases 2 seconds for psx games".

2. Go to IsoBuster -> Track02 -> Sector View (RAW Mode) -> "track02 start sector"

3. You have now to go back till you reach the last scrambled data sector mixed with gap data (in most cases you can safely skip 148/149 sectors and then go step by step 1 sector backward)

....

4. Calculate this sector samples, you know also how it works wink

5. The gap of 2 seconds has a length of 150 sectors, if the difference between first track02 data sector (point 2) and last scrambled data sector (point 3) == 150, then you have reached the first pregap sector, and have also your combined r/w offset. When the difference is less than 150, you have to add (150 - difference) * 588, in addition!!!

I hope I have described everything understandably.

***note: gap of 2 seconds (2:00) == 150 sectors, 1:74 == 149 sectors, 1:73 == 148 sectors... and so on!

factory write offset is -647 !!!

you have to dump this disc with EAC correction of +20 samples, don't worry I will help you later smile ...have no time yet

Where do you live ssjkakaroto?

If somebody lives in France, and is interested in Plextor PX-760A, here is an eBay auction, current price 10 Euro, maybe you have luck and can buy it for less than 50 Euros smile
But if several are interested in it, arrange you and wait with your bidding, else you force up the price

The shipping costs are to much for me - 17,50 Euro to Germany.

you should use a tool like startstop to speed up/down the drive to avoid damages on disc and drive tongue

***just edit the batch files, if you will use them!

Track02 of "Resident Evil 2" should be a dummy track with 2 secs pregap,
you can try to dump it with two of your drives (high+ and high- offsets)
because dummy track will bring you anyway same results!

EDIT:
EAC can't detect pregap of a single audio track, like in this case wink
You can calculate pregap in IsoBuster, it is not very difficult.

...-01 is not impotent, that means indeed that the disc is from 'Player's Choice' edition.

when your NFS Underground (G) disc has ...-01 on it, then his edition should be fixed.

You've right with track pitch, and I understand your thought and intentions what concerns the logo zone. You believe also the hardware would read the discs, independent of the contents, at exactly logo ring position!? Indeed, this would be crazy!

I have seen that Saturn discs have 2 rings (inner and outer). Or is this inner ring simply the lead-in area?

what is the difference in burning it on CD-650 or CD-700 ?
pit/land blocks must be of same size if you burning data on this media.

it would interest me, can Sega Saturn read CD-RW's properly? not that you waste your time with CD-RW's

don't forget to configure out the new connected drives in EAC (just drive options-> F10)

ok
