Isobuster report same message both original disc and dump file.

I think it's OK for 1:1 dump rule here.

RetroGamer wrote:

axisleon, please dump the audio tracks from both discs and post the dumping info so that they can be added as verification dumps.

Hi RetroGamer, ok, I'm lazy man, I'll post complete verify info the dump section.  tongue

Thanks, I'll check SWS, and see what pessing it is.

KOF yes dump them, you might find yours are different like I did with 94. I'll try to submit my neocd dumps tommorrow, I have three or four not in db. I may branch out with neocd and buy some more, as they clean up really easy.

Hi, tossEAC, I notice your list contain DreamCast and XBOX(1) dump.

I have a drive of Samsung TSH-D162C (+6)(No Overread), not refresh the Kreon firmware yet.

After I refreshing Kreon, can the drive still dump the DC games?

Waiting for your reply, I asked in IRC, everyone there not very sure.

Edit: Sorry for my poor english, seems only KOF '94 problem. tongue

Hmm, should I check my '95 and '96 disc?

2. Determining disc type

•PlayStation 2 discs with green working surface are CDs.
•PlayStation 2 discs with pink working surface are DVDs.

green > blue

pink > silver

It's the Kidou Senshi Gundam: Meguriai Sora Asia-Limited-Version Add-on DVD.

Same Package, same game, only the DVD-video is Region-3. (Same Video Contents)

機動戦士ガンダム ダイジェスト版 = Kidou Senshi Gundam Dijest Ban

I can dump the few PCE-CD that match the DB so far, but I don't know how to explain it in english and write the post in dump section.

In short, the PCE-CD structure is very special because the gap don't follow the TOC, so it needs some data-shift and recreat the gap.

One thing important is prepare a drive support over-read lead-in zone and big value of positve offset to check the data-audio & audio-data gap.

[HCD1020]Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes (Write offset -1249) (match)
[HCD2033]Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes II (Write offset -1469) (match)
[HCD8004]Space Advanture COBRA: Kokuryuuou no Densetsu (old data)(Write offset -715) (match)
[HCD1014]Space Advanture COBRA II: Densetsu no Otoko (old data)(Write offset -2041) (match)
[HCD1022]Tengai Makyou II - Manji Maru (old data)(Write offset -343) (match)
[HCD9009]YsI & II Ancient Ys Vanished (old data)(Write offset -305) (match)
[HCD3051]YsIV The Dawn of Ys (old data)(Write offset +1752) (match)

Ps: My SONY CRX140S (+572)(Overread Lead-In) with EAC use only one offset, all audio track match after gap fixing.
Ps2: The Track01 needs remove wrong gap detection bytes of the end to get common JAP Track01 (b979500c).
Ps3: Due to EAC detect 0.01s gap in the non-stop Audio zone sometimes, some Audio track needs move data to next track.

It spend more time to fix than the other console game, so I do it not often.

Good luck.

Eject cycle the xbox disc many times, but still not work.

Even non-use the XBC. (Because the SS have been dumped.)

PS: Using SAMSUNG TS-H943A with ix16-samsung-0800.bin on real X360 console, not Kreon drives.

Get a zero-sized Track 01.iso and nothing happened.

But mount the XBC-iso with Virtual-Drive, it works. But still get a 7825162240 sized Track 01.iso.

Something wrong?

I try to DUMP the Original Game

http://redump.org/disc/20961/

But the ISO size always 7825162240

Can anybody tell me some useful information to set up the XBC?

Thanks everyone who give me information to dump Game here, ARIGADOU MINASAN.

PS: DMI and PFI CRC32 is match the DB.

Well, the solution for deal with the anomaly PS game is complex.

I learned a lot, thank you, pablogm123.

By the way, how about the anomaly PS game with Mode1 data mixed in Mode2 data area.

Any clue? Ex: SLPS-01565 and SLPS-02814. Dump with Isobuster directly? (Single Data Track Game)

If the PR set length per read command to burst, not 1 sector.

It will get the right CRC Track01(data), but still stop at the last sector of Disc. (Track02 will be delete after U stop PR)

Maybe it can use PR(data) + EAC(audio) method to match the DB. ( hmm nonsense)

68

(29 replies, posted in General discussion)

After move to 2nd PC(same ASPI and SPTI), the result is stop at the last sector of Disc.

The Track 01 also wrong CRC32. (But I don't know why.)

Isobuster test result is overread Lead-in only.

That's all.

PS: Audio trap dsc + CDRWin method get the wrong Track01, too. (Fix by cut the offset)

I use Pioneer DVD-129P via PR to dump SLPS-00917

http://redump.org/disc/9568/

And it get a perfect Track 01 and match the DB, but it hang up when jump to Track 02.

I restart PR and lost the drive, it shows blank on  devices screen.

Maybe my chipset problem, I'll change it to another PC.

Report continue.........Log out.

70

(29 replies, posted in General discussion)

Oh, you mean the drive read-feature is application depend, not it's native right?

I guess maybe read command or ASPI(SPTI) layer different.

After I test the Pioneer DVD-129P via EAC and PR and Isobuster, I'll show the report here.

Best regard.

I use the EAC to test Pioneer DVD-129P, it shows overread Lead-in only.

Because I dump Saturn Game often, so the DVD-129P take a vacation. lol

Ok, I'll exchange the one next time to test its overread Lead-out by Isobuster.

Thanks the useful information.

72

(29 replies, posted in General discussion)

You're right, in fact I have another Pioneer DVD-129P can over-read the Lead-in zone.

My motherboard support only 1 IDE socket, exchange the drives needs to restart the OS. (lazy...)

So I usually use the DVR-111 to dump, it works fine on Sega Saturn CD.

The special dump-guide device almost old model and hard to find unfortunately.

Anyway thanks, I'll try the audio trap disc method.

73

(29 replies, posted in General discussion)

The Pioneer drives can't  set the sub-channel 001b mode in PerfectRip.

So dump by the Pioneer drives via PerfectRip always wrong CRC32.

That's why I answer the post below.

http://forum.redump.org/topic/9760/veri … sou-japan/

And also thanks for your information, pablogm123.

74

(29 replies, posted in General discussion)

Well, I know the answer is "Do not use the Pioneer Drive to handle such special discs",

I just try to find a solution for some drive unsupport PR, that's all.

Thank everyone who give me useful information.

(29 replies, posted in General discussion)

That's why I ask the question, fix or not, because I only have the Pioneer devices so far.

Sorry, the last question:

Fill-up QSF on the last sector of Track01 will match the DB but still have 1 error.

Then clear the User Data will match the old history and no error occured.

If the situation happened again, should I fixed it? (Ex: SLPS-00451)

Thanks for yours information again, RetroGamer.
