This dump: http://redump.org/disc/1929/
Is a European release, NOT American, as the database says.

Proofs:

1. MD5 says so
I've got RE3 EU PC release. After dumping it, the md5 is: 055b363d49c9782f0db966cad3ca6a10
Exactly like the one in the database.

2. Readme says so
On the disc, the readme file refers to UK stuff (UK technical support, UK web links ..) and no US reference at all

3. Disc ring says so
The ring in the database says: BRESIPEN 01 02 DISCTRONICS
My ring of the RE3 EU PC says: BRESIPEN 01 05 DISCTRONICS IFPI 8708
Another RE3 EU release (GERMAN) ring says: BRESIPGE 01 01 DISCTRONICS IFPI 8728
Conclusion: Bresipge disctronics rings are European, not American !

4. US version is already in the database
As dumped by me, the US version is here already and it's the correct one: http://redump.org/disc/9573/

5. Reply from the dumper (pnkiller78)

I'm tagged it US because I bought there, I'm from Central America. Maybe where I bought it they were selling European games.
How can I check and be sure?

I think everything's self-explanatory. The current db entry should be corrected by setting the disc's region to Europe.

DISCTRONICS = UK region? how do you come to this conclusion?

http://www.discitalia.com/disctron/dismain.htm

the ring says only where the disc was pressed, but not for which region !

4ex. http://redump.org/disc/2175/

the most gamecube discs where pressed in Japan, but it doesn't mean they have to be JAP  tongue

when you are sure your disc was produced for UK region (or bought there), then region flag should be changed to World instead  wink

PX-760A (+30), PX-W4824TA (+98), GSA-H42L (+667), GDR-8164B (+102), SH-D162D (+6), SOHD-167T (+12)

OK well, so at least you can verify the dump by adding me there if you want.
I really have the European original disc, I dumped it twice and the md5 matches.

okies, DONEskiy  smile

RiMMER asked me to describe the disc so he can help us to discern what region this disc is, I can't post covers scans because I don't have a scanner or access to one, but I will do my best to describe what the disc looks like.
The front cover is like this one, just a bit more wide, like from a shot taked from a little bit far away).

The back cover look like this one, the top screenshot in the cover is the same in my disc, the middle one in my disc correspond to the bottom one on the picture but just with one zombie on the stairs instead of two, and the bottom one it's from Jill running injured on a street on Racoon City with a zombie to left of the screen.
There's a lot of text telling you about the features only available on the PCCD version.
In my disc, the barcode and the esrb.org notice in the screenshot are replace for other things like the one in this other picture, in my disc there's no ESRB notice, just a 15 circled number painted in red with a text to the right which says "Suitable only for persons of 15 years and over. Not to be supplied to any person below that age." and the barcode below it.
In the cover's bottom there's the usual text about the copyrights warning, and the CAPCOM and EIDOS Interactive logos.

I think that this disc is European, I didn't notice that it doesn't have the ESRB logo in the front, which is mandatory in the USA game of this genre. My barcode is 5-032921-01179-2.

[EDIT]
Oh, i found the BBFC mark on the front, this disc is European, I didn't know about them, they are something like the ESRB in USA, my disc has this printing to the right of the 15 logo BBFC Reg.No.VFC 14379.
So, it's definitely UK. Uhm, I tough it was not allowed to commercialize European games inside US territory (where I bought this disc many years ago)...

So, I was right from the beginning after all... thanks for proving me right. Case closed.

Furthermore, this dump: http://redump.org/disc/9573/

Can be renamed from Resident Evil 3 - Nemesis (USA) (6A4F-F0E4) to Resident Evil 3 - Nemesis (USA), as the serial number was added because of a duplicate, but now that we know it wasn't a duplicate, but actually European version, this USA version is unique and needs not the serial number after the name to comply with the general naming scheme.

Thanks in advance!
