It's a minor stupid distinction, but the few NTSC Playstation games I have from boxed collections are labled as the plural-possessive Collectors' and not the possessive Collector's like they are called in the database.

Maybe only NTSC have S-apostrophe and I doubt it's worth bothering to change, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to mention in case anyone cared. tongue

I think it means a single person = Collector, I believe it's same like "Director's Cut" etc.

PX-760A (+30), PX-W4824TA (+98), GSA-H42L (+667), GDR-8164B (+102), SH-D162D (+6), SOHD-167T (+12)

I agree that Collector's sounds just fine; the only reason I suggest Collectors' is because that's how it's written on the game packaging.

At least in the USA wink

I agree. "Director's Cut" is fine, because there's usually only one director, whereas a "Collectors' Edition" aims at all the collectors out there, not just specifically one of them. And if it's written like that on the cover, we should stick to that spelling.
