The real and only REDUMP Disc Preservation Project on redump.org was attacked by some traitors which unfortunatelly happened to be staff in this project.

Those deleted many forum posts, attachements, maybe even users.
One of the users they banned on wiki which i know for sure.
They even banned me on wiki, what a joke, stupid morons think i won't be able to restore all that.
Just some pitty losers who i laugh at.

Before i will be able to restore all the mess they left behind I need to collect all the avidence,
which will be used against them in the judge court, cause this is gona happen for sure.
For different things they have done.

Until then, the project will work as before, but with some forum data missing.
I will restore everything later.

Right now, if you were affected by their changes, deletions and bans,
please wright a short message to my email address: admin@redump.org
Or let an other user contact me on forums via PM or publicly if not affraid.
I will try to fix that right away.

Until then, new dumping submissions are ready to be posted.
I will restore the subforums for that which they deleted.

Cheers to all nice people.

P.S.: wiki pages will go back online as soon as i cleared the mess they left behind.

а почему вы за столько лет не удосужились выучить английский?

The sign is a subtle joke. The shop is called "Sneed's Feed & Seed", where feed and seed both end in the sound "-eed", thus rhyming with the name of the owner, Sneed. The sign says that the shop was "Formerly Chuck's", implying that the shop was owned by Chuck at some point. So, when Chuck owned the shop, it would have been called "Chuck's Fuck and Suck".

What is this about,, why no new dumps since 2 weeks? I want to submit

Because the criminal data thieves are scaring the honest users away and are pushing on them publicly.

Read the news on the main page which i wrote about this topic.

The criminal data thieves are going into the jail, i can tell you that.

You are free to post new wip submissions by the way, via the newdisc submission form, and the forum pages can be used as well.

Pretty much the entire team who handled user submissions got fed up with how redump.org worked and left after creating a copy of publicly accessible data.

I hope someone remember me... I register here quite the same days iR0b0ts did, I posted a lot of dumps data until 15 years ago then I stopped cause I had not so much time, I was moderator here too and I hink I gave my contribution to the project with many posts and discussions...

What happened is really sad and those people, the traitors, are really stupid and immature... it feels like they have something personal with you (iR0b0t) and other admnins... or some stupid issues (slow website, https, no new language and regions, etc -  these are the issue they blame about) have become personal.
If they didn't agree with Redump admins they had the rights to go away and found a new project, using also publicly accessible data from Redump.org, but only hash and notes. Indeed:

1) they stole the name of the project;

2) they stole whole database also with users data (I found myself registered on their new website without my permission, and this happened to all users here);

3) they vandalized forums and wiki;

4) after doing this they posted here asking for personal data deletion without even knowing the laws or what can be deleted;

5) it looks like they prefer quantity over quality of dumps;

6) they want new system dats public, without understanding the risk;

7) they want even public links to upload / downdolad / share dumps;

...and so on...

They think that all this mess is right cause they have support by kids from reddit and discord, but the best result they could effort is the death of Redump project, unles someone stops them with ISP DMCA actions before of a lawsuit.

I repeat, they have all the rights to create a new projet, but they decided to act the worst way they could...
Look at how No-intro acted with Cowering's good-tools for example: the complains were the same, but they just founded a new project using good-tools hash data as a base and nothing else... maybe they were diffent times when people acted more loyally...

I hope everything will be fixed here and the traitors will blow away as it should be!

My patch requests thread
--------------------------------

Whether the move to the new site is right or wrong I won't comment on, I don't know about it. There's something to be said for both sides I guess, especially copying the user data sounds... gray though. Like rocknroms said above as well.

What I do know however, is that I feel like you can't blame this entirely upon the people who made the move and 'upper management' is also to blame. For years, there have been complaints about the state Redump is in. Things that bother mods and users alike. Stuff like missing https, mysterious outages, registration not working with many email providers, broken PS5 triple layer support, certain character combinations resulting in malformed titles, a general outdated functionality, no api, a lack of clear communication, adding new fields to the database, new regions and the list goes on and on. And together with that, a reluctancy to open the project up to other people. So many people have wanted to help over the years, but nobody got the chance. From what I understand (but please correct me if I'm wrong), barely anybody (active) got access to the code, the hosting, the data or anything. And everyone had so so so much patience. But at some point, the frustrations get to a boiling point and stuff like this happens.

Do I like that the project is sort of split in two now? Certainly not. I wish this wouldn't have happened. But you keep talking about what they did, but please have a thought about why they did it.

Sorry, but there is NO MOVE !
The only REDUMP project was, is and remains on here, on redump.org.
Any other redirections are clearly supporing the criminal dids of the data thieves.
I know who they are and they will to have to deal with consequences.

There are no excuses on regards the criminal dids.

That's exactly what is happening!
I am glad to see, that there are still people with clear mind.
Everything you mentioned is on point, thanks for bringing it up.
I wanted to bring it in public, but with some delay, while i am still collecting all the evidences.
Cheers to all supporters.

Not only publicly, they took everything they had access to, as (now ex-) staff members!

Ladies and gentlemen, I'll take a little off-topic:
To Rocknroms: When you log in, please check out my DMs and reply to mine, thanks in advance.

Hey, Rocknroms, long time no see. I completely agree with you. With the way they acted, redump.org data was stolen, plain and simple.
Also, I never agreed to have my account and dump data on redump.info.

Rocknroms wrote:

Exactly.

I completely agree with you.

Everybody who contributed to the project signed an agreement that said all their work belongs to iR0b0t, the creator and roaring engine behind the site. It is his data, and he may create, bend, or destroy it as he sees fit.

This is what 20 years of collective disc preservation was for, in the end. It has all led up to this, and I am proud to be a part of it.

iR0b0t, I salute you sir!

That last post was a bit unlike me, I apologise.

What? I never signed an agreement to that.

Everyone left because iRobot wasn't active and not listening to requests. There was a 4 year gap between this drama and his last posts.
