I just bought a new PS2 - model: SCPH 90002 (NZ$199 for the console, extra controller, memory card + game all new). Ive been looking around at mod chips and one that is readily available to buy and have installed in my area is the Modbo 760. Has anyone had a bad experience with this chip? I can hardly find a review of this chip online but they seem to be selling everywhere.

If these guys actually release firmware release 1.3, I'd get one of these http://www.ozmodchips.com/memor32-memen … -p-86.html
Apparently it can run iso's directly off the hdd or usbhdd without needing a modchip at all

you need to patch iso before running.

Under future announced features, it says: HDD and USB-HDD support to enable boot of "unpatched" game ISO files from HDD and USB-HDD!
