Sometimes a disc just doesn't want to read in audio mode
I need those logs.
Often times they read without error with BE
Because often times 0xbe handles mastering error sector as no-error sector.
The outer areas of the disc need slower speed to not get read errors when they are "over burned" size. I have to stop a dump and redump with slower speed to avoid C2 errors on some discs.
Then, you should use the slow speed from the beginning when dump the over burned disc.
Or if DIC can detect it is the overburned disc, DIC can set the slow speed forcibly.

Why? I don't think slow reading generates good reading. If you think slow reading is good, you need to specify that.
Well I looked at the sectors in cdmage, on one disc the sync is shifted by 16 bytes to the right (safedisc) and on another disc the sync is shifted into the previous sector's ecc/edc area (normal disc). So yeah I think this is a bug with the DVD drives.

Another issue, I don't know if it's the DVD drives or a bug in DIC. There is no C2 errors but some sectors are corrupted after unscrambling. Here is the log of the latest one I had this happen. This only happens with my 716 and 760, it does not happen with any of the CD drives.
Some dumpers also have reported this. I've thought this is the problem of drives.
If you have time, please test below.
1. Dump your disc using cdtoimg.exe (d8 hacked) and descramble using Descramble_CDDA.exe.
If I remember right, cdtoimg uses the submode 00 (only main-channel is dumped). If Descramble_CDDA can descramble all sectors with no errors, I think the submode 08 (main+c2+sub) of DVD drive have bug.

It's Blue Byte Software original(?) protection. Germany version(http://redump.org/disc/43270/) has SYSTEM.LSK. This file are protected.

Character set was unrelated.
The size of a character string is recommended to be less than 160 bytes.
This means single-byte character can show 160 letters, double-byte character can show 80 bytes.
Old DIC had stored 80 bytes for single-byte character, so app crashed due to the short of buf size.
It seems Alcohol 120/52% has same(?) problem. If you want to mount the image with your cue,

What tool do you use? Daemon tools? Alcohol 120/52%? Anyway, if tool you use doesn't support Latin-1, you need to convert to other charactor set (unicode etc.)

I don't recommend to dump all sectors by /r because it takes a long time to dump and not all are twin sectors.
Here's the results of dumping STALKER - Clear Sky , 1/2 the disc is different.
Was this the result you expected? And are these 2 images needed to merge?

Not supported yet.
while tracks 2 and after are like a single track for the system. The main movie part is divided by tracks, yes, but it's not intended for playing/decoding the separate tracks. So the tracks 3 and beyond can start with incomplete frames and have any bytes there.
Doesn't VideoNow Player support the track search like general CD player? If yes, it's inconvenient player...
That means the "incomplete" frame doesn't belong to the 1st track, because the 1st track is always standard (for the already dumped discs) and its data should be the same, while track 2 is, of course, always different, including its first frame.
Even if VideoNow handles the disc like a single track, tracks themselves should be standalone according to the TOC and the correct combined offset, I think. Because VideoNow disc is multi track.
Can you make a real autodetection of the offset? Users don't want to count those values, it should be automatical.

But if you redump it as /vn 18032, the 2nd track starts properly.
How about the 3rd, 4th, 5th... tracks? Do these tracks really start with 0x81, 0xe3, 0xe3, 0xc7, 0xc7, 0x81, 0x81, 0xe3?
And please try to use /vn 10408 by your disc, then check if all tracks start with 0x81, 0xe3, 0xe3, 0xc7, 0xc7, 0x81, 0x81, 0xe3 except the last track.

My color disc has 106x19600 bytes + 18032 (incomplete frame) in track 01. So, /vn 0 is no problem.
Your color disc has 106x19600 bytes + 7624 (incomplete frame) in track 01. So, you need to use /vn 10408. (18032 - 7624 = 10408)
Incomplete frame is VideoNow logo. This belongs to track 01, not track 02.

If crc16 of subQ is 0, app do not return FALSE.
Try not to use /nq.
