MrK, your Hexen dump appears to have wrong data track size.. you have to cut off 705600 bytes from the end (PR cut off 2 seconds from the end, but it should be 6 seconds.. PR can't do this correctly.. it always assumes 2 seconds pregap for track02), so that the size of the data track becomes 169.249.920 bytes and the size of all tracks together becomes 641341008 (the size that psxt001z 'from image' reports) 
could you do this please and post the new checksum (also make sure you don't forget --fix
