Hi,

because of an accident, I lost all of my GC and Wii backups. I also lost the backup of the backup, so I had to dump all my games again.
Lessons learned: Store at least one backup at another location.

While I used USB Loader GX to dump my games in the past, I now switched to CleanRip 2.0, because Resident Evil Zero couldn't be dumped with USB Loader GX (the detected size of the disc was wrong). I also liked the verification with a provided dat-file.

I used my softmoded Wii 4.3 (latest HBC, and some cIOS to play my backups) and CleanRip and the attached wii.dat (found it somewhere in the web) and your gc.dat. I was able to dump and verify all my 74 GC games. But my Wii games had some problems. I have 62 Wii games and was only able to dump and verify 51 of them. The other games could be read without errors but does not match the md5-hash of the wii.dat. I dumped the games 2 times and got the same (non matching) hash. I kept the bca- and dump-info-files.

Any idea, what's wrong here?

Edit: One non-matching game is:

is the version of the game, which is listed in my wii.dat. The version is different (1.01 vs. 1.00). What does this mean?

Hi, it means that both discs are different versions of a game, therefore they cannot share the same hash.

Different versions of a game... I only heard of Paper Mario, which was rereleased because of a bugfix.

I can check the unmatched games for different versions and add bca and dumpinfo, if they are different. Is this ok?

It is not uncommon for gamecube and wii games to have updated versions. And yes, just post your other stuff too.
