so i've finally got myself a drive with >1k offset and took another shot on that SCED-02492 i have and i think there might have been some changes made in the latest versions of eac (i use V0.99 prebeta 3)
since i get correct crc for track2 (1st audio) right after extraction (skipping this step: 'Including Track 02 pregap') and if i switch to option 'Leave Out Gaps', track 2 size decreases by 252800 bytes and data shifts left by that amount. so there must be a gap at the start. the same is true for Japanese Tekken 3.

i think i've got it now. when there are only 2 tracks 1data/1audio eac does often report no gap. so then this step is necessary. sorry.
