I don't really like bringing up name issues because some of Redump's name choices in the past made no sense to me.
I ended up getting so frustrated at having my dumps renamed to crazy things (in my opinion) that I quit dumping.

But I'll try again on this one. I didn't submit this game as "G-Police 2" and "2" doesn't appear anywhere in/on the game in any country (as far as I know).  None of the other regions have "2" in their name so I can't imagine why it should get added the the USA version.

You're right.. gorelord added it and nobody ever checked it.. the '2' isn't anywhere so I removed it

If there are any other titles that you think are wrong, plz tell so we can fix them

Jackal, you forget mark this topic as [FIXED].  smile

One I remember off the top of my head is Wild Arms: 2nd Ignition.  The game is named 'Wild Arms 2' on the disk, box, manual, title screen, Sony's site, and on every game list I've ever seen. "2nd Ignition" only appears briefly in the opening movie as a 'leftover' from the games name in Japan which was missed or ignored when the game was localized.

Another is Tall Infinity: The Tower of Wisdom. The game's name is Tall: Infinity. "The Tower of Wisdom" is just part of the art on the title screen and shouldn't be added to the name any more than "Ultimate Puzzle Action" from the cover should be part of the name.

Another is Metal Slug X: Super Vehicle-001. It's name is Metal Slug X. "Super Vehicle-001" is a left over from the Japanese name.

Tons of PS1 games in the database have text phrases on their title screen/manual that Redump doesn't include in their names. It just confuses people to tack a bunch of junk subtitles onto names.

I think we should normally go with the box/disc titles, unless those are inaccurate in some bogus way.. You were right about these titles and they're fixed. I've never heard anyone complain about these titles before, so if you have any other wrong titles just let me know and they'll be fixed  cool
