Some serials fixes (all them can be read in their headers):

Ghen War:
81001 -> MK-81001

NiGHTS into Dreams:
81048B -> MK-81020 - (EXE date) 1996-07-04 -> 1996-06-19

Virtua Fighter 2:
81014 -> MK-81014

Worldwide Soccer - Sega international Victory Goal Edition:
81105 -> MK-81105

Fixed EXE date for Nights (both US and EU entry had wrong EXE date).

About serial, those serials are (and must be) taken from package and/or disc and not from header, you may have one entry confirmed from 2 different release (ex: Original and Satakore) so we have to take serial on package (not all packages have MK-).

Thanks!

Really? So I think the problem is a little bigger because none of SS US packages has the MK (only the T-xxH). The MK only appears in the header, different from European versions.

MK- could be added (a few SCD/SS have it, most don't), but for example:

NiGHTS into Dreams:
MK-81048B -> MK-81020 cannot be changed because header is different

Specifically for this case, my Nights version has the number 81020 in the box/CD (the same from the header of db). Maybe it's a different version or a coincidance (but I can see db's ring shows the number 81048B, different from my CD), although I can't dump because is scratched. Anyway, the most important thing here is to establish a rule. What I can say for sure is that none of US SS or US SCD boxes has the MK and it's implicit in the serial (I know it may seems irrelevant, but makes a lot easier when cataloging and classifying), so I guess it'd be better to add it.

I agree. If you confirm that at 100% (as I remember some US disc with MK on box) we could change to MK- without any problem.

Well, I just looked into 84 Sega Saturn US MK games at my photos collection and as there's nothing 100%, 1 of these games had the MK: F1 Challenge (MK-81206), probably a misprint. All others (100% of redump db, 9 games) don't have it in their boxes/CDs.
I also found out that the Nights version of db is the one that came with 3D control pad.
Another point, there are two games with numbers 14002 and 14003, which is Three Dirty Dwarves, a game that I dumped and inserted the header serial (that is entirely different): T-30401H. So, please fix to 14003.
If you wish, I can PM you the list of games I've just checked.

This is what I mean, some games have been released in more waves, some boxes have MK- and some don't.

Yes, no problem You can send it
