Hey guys, good work on the redump project on the ps1.I'm having a problem with some of the games.Mostly the multi tracked games like twisted metal and tekken among others. The problem being that the bins which i know track 1 is 9 outta 10 the data files, and the rest are audio. The problem is,when i burn the image through the cue sheet in a program like imgburn and i put the cd in my ps1,is that no audio music will not play during the game. Now i've tried emulators like PSX 1.13,and the music plays flawlessly, but emulators like epsxe 1.7 even with the right setup of plugins, will not play the music tracks, videos, and title music and such a work great, but audio tracks wont work.Is there a certain way these games and files need to be burned a certain way?I've done everything using the unpakkiso decompiler folder, and everything got transferred from ape to bin.So the thing is,what else am i missing? All help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx in advance.

Looking forward the replies on this thread, actually. I hope someone can explain this ...

I am having the same problem! I'm glad someone posted about this before I did.

You are correct, it seems to be just multi-track games with the cdda files (audio tracks basically).

The images with one or two bins seem to play fine but the ones with many like Tekken, Twisted Metal, Cool Boarders 2 and others my modded PS1 can't read the music for some reason but in an emulator it works just fine. I wonder if it needs to be burnt a certain way for the actual system to read the music contained in these multi track images.

I don't understand why ppl post all this stuff here?
Are we a pirate site to explain to everyone how to crack/play something?

Check the older threads, you will sure find something, I remember there were already similar topics...

dude instead of coming with some lil saying and what not,and say to check older threads, could you possibly, just give a link to the thread which you are talking about?

sorry, but it can have many causes (ppl-, hardware- or/and plugin-errors)
i don't want to waste my time for that, and i don't care about such things.

but the easiest way would be to convert the splitted data to a single image -> mount the cue, copy the mounted drive with your preferred tool and you will have the exact same data like redump have, just in one image
