What's up here? Edition "Expansion Pack". Either it IS an Expansion Pack in which case it should be named Throne of Baal and the edition would be "Original" or it is indeed a disc that's part of BGII itself in which case it shouln't have edition "Expansion Pack". Besides, Shadows of Amn should only have 4 Discs so this being a 5th discs sounds wrong too. Or am I not getting something here?

I can't think of a single valid situation in which Expansion Pack would be right as edition.

edit: alright, I checked all of provato's dumps and I think I get the situation but I still think this is wrong:

Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn (Disc 5) (Manuals and Patches)    PC        Expansion Pack    English
Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn (Disc 1)    PC    2.0.22956    Original, Expansion Pack    English
Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn (Disc 2)    PC    2.0.22956    Original, Expansion Pack    English
Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn (Disc 3)    PC    2.0.22956    Original, Expansion Pack    English
Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn (Disc 4)    PC    2.0.22956    Original, Expansion Pack    English
Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal    PC    2.5.26461    Expansion Pack    English

If I'm not mistaken this is a boxset that include both BGII and the expansion, right?

In that case, shouldn't the titles be BGII: Shadows of Amn + Throne of Baal Disc 1-6 ?? With appropriate disc titles of course.
The edition would then be "Original" for all of them.

You see, otherwise there's no distinguishing these from the separately release BGII: Throne of Baal (or Shadows of Amn). Looks to me like the naming hasn't been thoroughly thought about for PC games. But then again I'm new here and might just be too stupid to understand it...

I think you might have a point there... Take a look at the package DVD cover:

IMO, the title for this game should be "Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn + Throne of Baal" or something similar.  The problem could be on the title screen and I believe we prioritize title screen name before box/label/cover title...

PC Games are troublesome... tongue

I thought you're using No-Intro convention? They prioritize boxart title.

Yeah, weird..  I really don't know if "Everything" changed to No-Intro or just the naming format.  Maybe a mod could clear it up.

And I think you can start saying "we're" instead of "you're".  If you prefer of course. tongue
