I'd like to suggest updating the category for the Kids Station series from "Game" to "Educational", since the content is primarily designed for early learning rather than traditional gameplay.

I'm not opposed to this change. However for reference, I believe the Educational category was originally created for the "Lightspan" PS1 discs in the US that are very different, they don't have sony serials, and aren't games at all.
Whereas these Kids Station games are at the intersection of child games and edutainment.

We've discussed this a bit in staff, and decided to leave the Kids Station all as Games.  There is a somewhat educational component, but they are hybrid sorta discs and definitely games.  We are more strict on categories for console than we are on PC, where Educational is a much more significant component of the database.  For PS1, Educational should be used for Lightspan specifically, and potentially other cases where it is almost solely educational in nature.

The purpose of categories is to essentially "ringfence" discs for easy filtering in the DAT. Rather than a genre category.

For JP PS1, it makes sense to me to have "Cinema Eikaiwa Series" and "Play de Oboeru" as Educational. And a few other discs that are advertised as educational multimedia, like learning English or Kanji.

Got it. Thanks for taking the time to look into it.
