Internal serial and ringcode serial of the Honkakuha de 1300 edition is different than the Internal serial and ringcode serial of the Original one, SLPS-02078 vs SLPM-86045, so http://redump.org/disc/32264 's datfile name should be changed from Rev 1 to Honkakuha de 1300.

Also, I do agree with shvneko's Fix request (http://forum.redump.org/topic/66929)

To me, I think that if the internal serial of a game get changed for a re-release, it means that the new version was introduced with the new edition, meaning that the best way to describe the new dump is with the edition's name and not just Rev 1. However, if the Internal serial / ringcode serial do not change, there is no proof that the new version was introduced with the new edition, it is just an updated version, so Rev 1 is better.
I think it is the same that when a Genteiban version is different, the internal and ring serial is different than the Original one, so 'Genteiban' gets added in datfile name.

For PS3 system, it is done that way (Rev 1 if same internal and ring serial, Edition if the internal and ring serial differs), and it works the same way as PS1

Furthermore, there's already a PS1 discs that are like this, for example http://redump.org/discs/title/a-ressha- … -4-global/

A Ressha de Ikou 4 is an exception to the current rule, technically that one would need "fixing"
Redump started as a PSX database and this "Rev 1" rule is something that has persisted because of how "it has always been done"
We do understand your reasoning but making this requested fix would be making the database more inconsistent. We would have to change the entire PS1 dat to make this change properly.

I'm currently looking at all the Japanese PS1 dump, and all of the revisions with a different internal serial are not Rev 1, but their edition name, someone seems to have fixed the database in 2019, so the whole database is already good and following this rule.

Having the new dumps of Katou Hifumi Kudan and Ongaku Tkool just flagged "Rev 1" instead of their respective edition would be the exception.

We'll need some more time to review the ps1 japan set.  More items were updated than we originally thought.  We'll analyze all this (and the other fix requests) and review.

So I looked at the 10900 PS1 dumps, and they 99.9% respect the rule   Same internal serial = rev 1, different serial = edition as datname

Fixed, I didn't know PS1 had been updated to the new standard already.
