I found out about the Redump-project in autumn 2010 and began doing some research about it in december 2012.

I've got approximately 75 games that is undumped and approximately 25 games that I can verifiy and/or add more information about.
I've already sucessfully dumped and verified several games on my own with some of the titles available in the database:

PS2:

TOCA 2 Touring Cars 1.1 http://redump.org/disc/1026/ (I needed to do the following by using an ODD with an offset of atleast +648:
Track 01-->Extract From-To-->End Address (LBA). Subtract the value with Pre-Gap (normally 2 seconds i.e. 150 sectors).
Track 02-->Extract From-To-->End Address (LBA). Subtract the Start Address (LBA)-value with Pre-Gap (normally 2 seconds i.e. 150 sectors).
Then I used a hex editor (Frhed in my case) and deleted the Combined offset * 4 (= bytes that needs to be deleted) from the beginning of Track 02.
Then I added the Combined offset * 4 (= bytes that needs to be added) as 00s in the end of Track 02.
I'm aware that I cannot create any logs at all by using this method, so I can understand if these type of dumps isn't allowed to publish in the database.)

I've got approximately 30 different ODDs (optical disc drives).
Unfortunately, none of those ODDs are a Plextor or a drive that supports scrambled mode, read lead-in and read lead-out.
I still have access to atleast 3 different ODDs that supports reading lead-in and lead-out, but unfortunately none of these 3 ODDs have a read/sample offset higher than +102.
On the other hand, I still have access to 11 (4 with lead-in support, 1 with lead-out support) different ODDs that have a read/sample offset higher than +648.
The lowest resp. highest read/sample offset I have access to is -472 and +1182
I'm going to submit all of the ODDs to the DAE Drive Features Database

I also have several different operating systems (in particular MSWIN9x, MSWINXP, MSWIN7 and GNU/Linux) to work with.

In GNU/Linux, I'm using the following command (cdrdao) to extract a disc with only one single data track:
cdrdao read-cd --read-raw --datafile FILENAME.bin --device /dev/sr0 --driver generic-mmc-raw -v 3 FILENAME.toc
...and the following command (rhash) to create checksums:
rhash --crc32 --md5 --sha1 --output=FILENAME.txt FILENAME.bin

I have read that as soon as a disc (CD, GD, etc.) has some sort of data track on it, there is a write offset (http://forum.redump.org/post/5437/#p5437).
I'll check if any of my ODDs are supporting the Audio Trap Disc-method mentioned here
Right now, I've two CDs (Euro Demo 49 and Euro Demo 67) that I'm going to try out with this method, just to see if the drive tries to extract the data track as an (scrambled?) audio track. I know (I can be wrong here) that none of these two CDs are going to be accurate if I succeed to extract the data track as an (scrambled?) audio track on an ODD with a lower read/sample offset than +648.

I got some questions:

If understand my situation correctly, I need to use CloneCD and SubCode Analyser to determine proper gaps, is that correct?

Is the following sentence a requirement to publish multitrack discs?:
"For multitrack discs calculate checksums using ClrMamePro's Dir2Dat function."

I'll probably need some help in the future, when I'm going to dump games with SafeDisc-protection + one (maybe more in the future) audio track.

What should be the next step to do?

I also want to mention that English is not my native language. My native language is Swedish.
