I think it would come in handy if you know the exact location of a scratch, so the distance in mm to a certain sector position on a CD or DVD. For DVD's I found the following one:
RADIUS SINGLE DUAL
.00mm = LBA 0 0
.00mm = LBA 40,000 37,000
.00mm = LBA 82,000 75,000
.00mm = LBA 126,000 114,000
.00mm = LBA 171,000 155,000
.00mm = LBA 218,000 198,000
.00mm = LBA 267,000 242,000
.00mm = LBA 317,000 288,000
.00mm = LBA 368,000 335,000
.00mm = LBA 422,000 384,000
.00mm = LBA 477,000 434,000
.00mm = LBA 534,000 485,000
.00mm = LBA 592,000 538,000
.00mm = LBA 652,000 593,000
.00mm = LBA 714,000 649,000
.00mm = LBA 777,000 706,000
.00mm = LBA 842,000 766,000
.00mm = LBA 909,000 826,000
.00mm = LBA 977,000 888,000
.00mm = LBA 1,047,000 952,000
.00mm = LBA 1,119,000 1,017,000
.00mm = LBA 1,192,000 1,083,000
.00mm = LBA 1,267,000 1,151,000
.00mm = LBA 1,343,000 1,221,000
.00mm = LBA 1,421,000 1,292,000
.00mm = LBA 1,501,000 1,364,000
.00mm = LBA 1,583,000 1,438,000
could anyone make a similar one for CD's plz? One of my discs has a scratch @ sector 192000 but I can't make out its exact location. Thanks
