Re: [ADDED] [SS] Daytona USA (Europe)

okay, but as i understood pastrelli used the same write offset like p_star, why should they mismatch then? (at least tracks 3-22)

edit: or did he dump it with offset 810+588=1398 ?

First dump:
NO MISMATCH, I was using the same write offset:

I was not able to determine the write offset but the dump matches the DB.

Second dump:

please redump it with +228 when your drive has offset +6

And that is what i did.

Re: [ADDED] [SS] Daytona USA (Europe)

Pastrelli, your dump is right (one with wo +222), I hope only someone asks p_star to check his dump.
Meanwhile I added it but we need to check the other dump (renamed as "Alt"), so please let this thread sticked

Re: [ADDED] [SS] Daytona USA (Europe)

Sorry to ask but you do know the "Alt" is the result of an other wo?

Re: [ADDED] [SS] Daytona USA (Europe)

Yes pastrelli, and this disc has to be checked now  wink

He is totally sure his dump is wrong (but unable to verify for some reason).

http://redump.org/disc/11198/
http://redump.org/disc/11222/
http://redump.org/disc/11227/

Those are most likely suffer from the same issue.

Re: [ADDED] [SS] Daytona USA (Europe)

Well, I've just dumped Sonic 3D Blast http://redump.org/disc/7008/ and had the same results for all the tracks.

Btw, DJoneK contacted me about a discussion with pregap of CK for Track 2 being 1.74s, but my dump was really 2s (I edited the hashes when I redumped with my new driver), as it is written in my post.

Re: [ADDED] [SS] Daytona USA (Europe)

No need to have the wrong p_star dumps visible in the db, so I've hidden some (the Alt ones with +810).

Also, what to do about all the other wrong dumps? (Guess all +810 should be -588 = +222?)

edit: I will check some +810 dumps for problems.

It's funny that when you don't become involved in a system it becomes such a mess  tongue

Re: [ADDED] [SS] Daytona USA (Europe)

I corrected the offset of the +810 dumps from +810 to +222 (2352 bytes forward).

There is still one left: http://redump.org/disc/11227/

I'll need the audio tracks from coreano to fix it.

edit: I also fixed the Track01 and Track02 of http://redump.org/disc/4714/ and http://redump.org/disc/2977/ .. gap was most likely wrong (it was different from TOSEC's)..

This is all I will do.. guess there are still some bad dumps left.. maybe some +588 ones.. and think it's good to compare track02 gaps to TOSEC's also.

I have informed p_star on a problem with his dump.
