BoreS, copy once again the second track. Other tracks have converged with yours.

2 (edited by BoreS 2008-01-02 01:41:46)

I copied this disk many times, on two different drives (NEC ND-1300A *offset +48* and Asus CD-S500/A  *offset +1858*), the result same as well as was earlier.

rom ( name track02.bin size 84998928 crc a7ce5954 md5 2735e6ab3e704d265f4d44ca09d76dba sha1 df5b32d3b7cc54a4eb74be0c26960f9281a939fb )

Extra strange smile I copied my disc on 5 drives (+6, +738, +600, +48 and +12 offsets).
What about number on CD? My number is:
T-14406GP-P1K      V        IFPI  L237
covers image: http://p-star.dremora.com/cd/PICT0066.JPG

на моём диске написано T-14406GP-00766-P1K  V  IFPI L237
по внутреннему ободу на лицевой стороне.
обложка у диска такая же. странно.

a bit offtopic, but
i got 2 slightly diverse versions of Virtua Cop 2 for saturn. but alike, visually only difference is the serial around inner circle. so i guess, maybe they were rushing releases and then patching quietly...

I think that's normal, I don't know for Saturn but for Mega Drive the only difference between revisions was the serial printed on rom chips, and it was noticeable only opening the carts.

It's better to note down both inner serials on your Virtua Cop 2 discs, and to tag the 2 dumps accordingly.

Another one game smile Look a this:
http://redump.org/disc/1448/
and this:
http://redump.org/disc/2273/
and THIS Devil Offset %):
http://redump.org/disc/2279/
http://redump.org/disc/1450/
Only one diference - Inner ring serial number.
