That one must have a different write offset, so audio is shifted compared to the other ring.
Could you post the headers of SA2 and Floigan Brothers?

If those 2 aren't matching they are most likely different versions?
I think it would come in handy if you know the exact location of a scratch, so the distance in mm to a certain sector position on a CD or DVD. For DVD's I found the following one:
RADIUS SINGLE DUAL
24.00mm = LBA 0 0
25.00mm = LBA 40,000 37,000
26.00mm = LBA 82,000 75,000
27.00mm = LBA 126,000 114,000
28.00mm = LBA 171,000 155,000
29.00mm = LBA 218,000 198,000
30.00mm = LBA 267,000 242,000
31.00mm = LBA 317,000 288,000
32.00mm = LBA 368,000 335,000
33.00mm = LBA 422,000 384,000
34.00mm = LBA 477,000 434,000
35.00mm = LBA 534,000 485,000
36.00mm = LBA 592,000 538,000
37.00mm = LBA 652,000 593,000
38.00mm = LBA 714,000 649,000
39.00mm = LBA 777,000 706,000
40.00mm = LBA 842,000 766,000
41.00mm = LBA 909,000 826,000
42.00mm = LBA 977,000 888,000
43.00mm = LBA 1,047,000 952,000
44.00mm = LBA 1,119,000 1,017,000
45.00mm = LBA 1,192,000 1,083,000
46.00mm = LBA 1,267,000 1,151,000
47.00mm = LBA 1,343,000 1,221,000
48.00mm = LBA 1,421,000 1,292,000
49.00mm = LBA 1,501,000 1,364,000
50.00mm = LBA 1,583,000 1,438,000
could anyone make a similar one for CD's plz? One of my discs has a scratch @ sector 192000 but I can't make out its exact location. Thanks
edit: Here's STalKer-X's CD graph:
Sector[#] Radius[mm]
18500 28
38500 31
56500 39
89000 38
112000 41
135000 43
159500 46
190000 49
216000 51
240000 53
I think Truong from cdtool/perfectrip/trurip/etc is working on an audio db
Everything on redump is game-related, although I agree with DVD and Audio CD not really belonging here (especially discs like this one: http://redump.org/disc/15714/ )
I don't think iR0b0t has the time now to add subchannels support.. and both systems are already covered in the trurip set
Hi.. thanks for letting us know about this.. I hope someone will be able to reverse engineer the software and see how it works
Hmm, I don't see why you should add this data anyway.. it's superfluous imho
SCUS-94351 belongs to WipeOut XL so I'm sure it's a homemade cover or something
Plz provide a proper link
as said before, we don't use httpd-ack

So why are we submitting the DVD-Videos to the database? Those are encrypted and useless too.
I don't know about that.. if you can extract them with isobuster without read errors, VLC should be able to circumvent the analog protection and play them without scrambling/artifacts?
If they are really useless then they should be removed I guess.
Yes, as you properly figured out, encryption must be intact, so Gaia Manager won't really help in any way.
I'm not sure if that's true. The dumps that we have now could turn out to be useless and maybe can't be decrypted in the future. What we are waiting for is some method that allows us to create decrypted/descrambled (layer decryption removed and all other properties staying intact) ISO's. It's no use preserving the encrypted images unless we have a way to decrypt them (without needing the disc again).
AFAIK, Gaia manager and all other tools so far can only create file-based (jailbreak format) backups and no sector-based ISO.
From PSP Filer readme:
Though the reason is not clear now, the last 1-3 record of UMD cannot be read from filesystem. So, doing ripping operation, the iso file is 2k-6k (1record = 2kbytes) smaller than it should be. Since version 3.9, Filer try to fill those “lost tail records” by following sequence:
1. Filer rips as large as possible.
2. Filer checks expected size by peeking ISO file, and if it is larger than ripped size, create a differential size data which is filled with 0.
3. Filer searches ISO file structure, and if there are files which uses “lost tail records”, copy those data into right place of the differential data.
4. Filer appends the differential data to the ripped ISO file.
edit: looks like it's been mentioned several times before in this topic
Somehow, the last 2K-6KB is not extractable on the file system.
And, it sometimes causes problems to some games. (iso doesn't work. icon is corrupt. etc)
Until the dumper, you needed to dump the last file by iRShell or PSPFiler, and replace the last 2K-6KB to the FL iso.(BAHAMUT, pSyPSP and WRG did it.)
PSPfiler 3.9 automaticly repairs the last 2K-6KB to extract the last file like iRShell.
No it's not.. what we have now is a binary file of the CD which is 2352 bytes/sector. Compressing it to CHD would be the same as compressing it to .zip or .rar for instance.. it would be absolutely pointless to preserve these checksums, if that's what you are aiming at.
Ripper006 is adding CHD support to his project, so I guess it's more MESS-friendly, but to us it's completely pointless.. like iR0b0t said, it's just a container
Prolly yes, but I don't think it belongs on Redump? or is it playable on a Dreamcast as well?
The version that you'll find here is completely unofficial and themabus only released it in binary form..
I'd say that's a NAY.. no movies on redump, ever, period..
My drive is on the unsupported list, so I tried httpd-ack. To test it I dumped ChuChu Rocket and Sonic Adventure, but only track 1 and track 3 match. Is there a way to produce good dumps with httpd-ack?
!!! Nope.. httpd-ack is not supported !!!

I always use New disc, but should I use a forum?
No, it doesn't matter
Hi, you can use forum
By the way, I sent you a pm, but you didn't respond.. this dump is missing the version number: http://redump.org/disc/14243/
verified...
http://forum.redump.org/topic/6845/anot … ification/
Ouch.. if you were a bit sooner, you could have saved him $125
Any news?
No that firmware was never released afaik..
Anyway, I don't know why you're doing all this.. you said yourself the other day that a local shop had Samsungs for very cheap, so why not just get a new one? Or is it not because you don't have another drive to rip them?
ps. I have a Philips drive in the Xbox and it seems windows can't detect it.. apparently it's normal for this drive
Unlock state 2 is what you need.. if it only shows the game partition then it's unlock state 1. MineSweeper will fail with state 1 because the addresses inside the security sector have video partition added.
So the correct command from Kreon readme:
FF 08 01 11 xx 'Set Lock State'
xx=00 - Drive locked (no unlock state)
xx=01 - Unlock State 1 (xtreme) enabled
xx=02 - Unlock state 2 (wxripper) enabled
Schtrom has an option for sending custom read commands, and the unlock command should be there
