Eh, I just changed it to how you said.

EDIT: should I add that CD-C95-329-DIA or 75000170-001 to serial or anything?

EDIT 2: Just to understand your reasoning...

It's a full version because the original MDK doesn't have those maps in it and a demo would contain maps that the original MDK had? As the read me said it's a limited version.

ok as you will see I added the game,

http://redump.org/disc/7375/

under demo catergory, limited edition as edition and what it was bundled with in comment.  in the read me they called it limited Edition

MDK: Mission Laguna Beach(tm) Version
-------------------------------------
This version of MDK is a limited version. The full product has many
more levels, weapons, and enemies for you to experience. See your
local retailer for this and other great Shiny, Playmates, and
Interplay products.

I have this game and I was trying to find more about it, I got it bundled a long time a go with a graphic card anything I look at for MDK doesn't have "Mission Laguna Beach" does anyone know if this is the complete MDK 1 or a demo of it? The size of the ISO is 41.0MB

EDIT: finding a thread on the Gamespot forum

I have Mission Laguna Beach, it's for the PC only. It's a promo for MDK that came with some Matrox graphics card. It says on the disk:

Bundled Software

Not to be sold separately from approved Matrox m3D hardware containing the PowerVR(tm) chopset. Separate sale is a violation of copyright laws.

Mission Laguna Beach is a short promo with levels that do not appear in the original game. And I mean short, it's finished in about an hour. The game is designed to ONLY work with Matrox drivers so I can't play it again. It just gives DLL errors when I try to run it on my computer.

My cd says Diamond 3D hardware but anyways, should I add this or what?

EDIT 2: Unlike the guy I posted mine works fine on a XP machine and I know it don't have Diamond Viper V330 as it's graphic card.

Here is a tip, the game might have a larger pre-gap then 2 seconds dump track 01 with isobuster then use cd-mage to check for errors.

read my post here...

http://forum.redump.org/topic/2564/poss … ames-help/

how many errors at the end of track 01 gives in cd-mage might possibly be the real pre-gap if it's not 2 seconds.

Game: Hook
System: Sega-CD

Track 21 perfectrip gives 0 gap and EAC gives 2.01 here is the subs.
The rest of the tracks are 2 seconds given by both programs.

Ok, I will from now on. Think the discs I dumped Subs for would have different gaps if I do it this way? hmm

57

(9 replies, posted in General discussion)

shit, you have to use the audio cd option for subs? I was using game....

I dumped the sub if anyone wants to take a look.

I am dumping Boggle

Both dumping programs gives 0 gaps for all 16 tracks I can verify that track 2 has no gap as I can use the ISOBuster method for the offset.

When I dump with Perfectrip track 1 is size 193508448, ISOBuster gives 193506096

Track 2 with Perfectrip is size 11299008, ISOBuster gives 10948560

The rest of the tracks match. I used two drives.

Perfectrip length is 178560 but the actual cd is 178410 which matches ISOBuster/EAC

I assume ISOBuster/EAC is correct as I get both results on two drives but as I never seen Perfectrip give those results like that I want to make sure no other staff wants to take a look at anything.

Have you tried scanning the dumps with cdmage for corruption? Some of those dumps must of got corrupted during the dumping process.  If you find one with no corruption use that one to repair the others but importing sectors from it to the other images error log. Then the CRC should match. Is this from two different drives or just 1?

Although if Redump did change its naming, I think there are some other things that could be improved, too. For example, putting all the discs for a game in the same folder. e.g. Final Fantasy IX (U) needs 8 folders currently, but they could be merged into one or two folders.

What's stopping you from doing that now? Name the folder Final Fantasy IX (U) and put all the discs in that folder with their cue. You might not be able to check with the dat but you have the DB and hashcalc.  I wouldn't consider that an improvement Final Fantasy might be single track game so it's only one track and a cue (if you want to use it) but what about multi-track games that have more then one disc. The emulator I use PSX V1.13 displays all tracks when you want to load a game and not just cues and it would be a pain in the ass if say even 2 disc game had 5 tracks each that you have to go through to find the cues.

I like the way it is now.

If it's torrentzip for ps2 games, yeah I am interested.

If it's only for sale there I would say it's for that region. When you look at the serial in the actual disc in ISO Buster does it display ANZ also (Doesn't matter really as it's Au region anyways but curious)? I would say it's Au region.

I can't seem to find a list (Honestly didn't do more then a couple of searches) but there is a division of Sony for Au, on the case does it say anywhere like Sony Computer Entertainment Australia or something to that effect? I don't think retail stores would import all their games, would they? Do they have a different serial, eg. America is SLUS for third party and SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment Ameria) for first party, then Europe's serial? Others would have to comment more.

It destroyed the image, that sucks. Hopefully you made a back-up before testing it. Was that for DVD or CD?

Would PackIso work for PS2 images

With DVDs I don't believe it will, I tried it with gamecube games and it canceled out when it failed the ECM part iirc. It might work on PS2 cd based games.

Of course you can try it, it didn't ruin my gamecube game.

That sector is -2 in cdreader, how do you figure this out?

is it,

91 X 16 + 8 /4 = 366

-2 X 588 =  -1176

366 - -1176 = 1542 to dump with

Yeah it's worked good for me so far, it's a shame we don't have a way to manually check other track gaps at least I don't know a way.

Glad it worked out for you.
