I dumped a bunch of Xbox OG and 360 these past few days, but one Xbox OG disc will not dump in DIC (it fails before dumping). XBC dumps it fine.

Here are the failed dic logs: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FbCiMv … sp=sharing

It's working! I redumped a couple PS2 Unl already in redump hashes match.

Separately, what should I do if a CD gets stuck in this phase "Reading DirectoryRecord    1/   2"?

Just tested out the 0911 build, pretty much every PS2 unlicensed disc I'm dumping is showing different hashes, including past discs that dumped consistently. Definitely recent regression bug.

Some people discussed how to handle intentional C2 errors. Please confirm them how we should do it.

Usually /sf flag works. I've dumped tons of ps2 UNL consistently that way. But this disc keeps producing a handful of hashes, a couple of which keep popping up over and over. These gamepro discs are a little different. Silver bottom and a raised ring in the ringcode area.

Inconsistent, but again the hashes are familiar https://drive.google.com/file/d/1u9mveY … sp=sharing

An unlicensed PS2 disc. I'm dumping it multiple times, and sometimes hashes match each other as different sets of matches.

sarami, please take a look and let me know what you think https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WgFt2I … sp=sharing

they can be if it's abandonware

Murky at best.

Get a judge to declare these specific games as abandonware in the jurisdiction of redump's servers, then let's continue the conversation after.

There are as of now just 41 discs with yellow status, which clearly don't belong into a datfile because they are either overdumped, underdumped or pirate discs.

You do realize, of course, that all your other X360 German demo dumps were verified, yet the unverified ones are still yellow on that list?

Not so clear.

If you change them to yellow, people will discard the dumps and this will hurt preservation.

I agree completely, which is why we should have Yellow dumps in the datfile. iRobot... come around man.

Why not just include yellows in the dat? That would ensure redump remains accurate and kills two birds.

If all these need redumped, shouldn't the statuses be changed to yellow?

Im' getting a crash right before the bin generation on a CD-R press kit (scm / img generate fine), no c2 errors.

Yeah links. But ofc if you can look for missing versions somehow for games that would be cool too.

Sure, may as well. I mean when in doubt they could always provide a pic for proof of ownership.

Just blast out the miss lists

Jos, anyway dolphin could blast a note about the Wii/gc missings in conjunction with this feature add? We're pretty much at a brick wall for finding rare stuff - such as euro Wii demos, etc.

Trying to dump the USA version of "Hanna-Barbera Cartoon Carnival" for CDi. The sectors finish dumping, then the dumping number turns negative and automatically restarts dumping.

Thanks Sarami , but no luck with this new test https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Hd-cw2 … sp=sharing

Doesn't recognize errors as intentional.

I see http://redump.org/newdisc/DC_MIL-CD/

Thanks

iRobot, can you add CD format for Dreamcast so unlicensed discs can be submitted?

Anything that can be done about it? Maybe modify DIC to handle data.dat like big.dat?

Thanks.
