Actually received 2 different Releases.
1st I think came from the Combo Edition, but Disk 2 was lost. 2nd release is from a Jewelcase Rerelease.

Worked. Dumped with no false detection of SecuROM.

4

(1,584 replies, posted in General discussion)

Redumped with latest test DIC. Dump completed and hashes match older DIC & CloneCD.

Question: DIC reads the disc as having SecuROM with 1 line in the subIntention.txt but no other program finds any protection. Is DIC reading a false positive on the SecuROM protection?

, Having problems dumping a coverdisc with DIC.

Dumped with DIC test branch from 20180515.
DIC finds

Detected intentional subchannel in LBA -1 => SecuROM Type 4 (a.k.a. NEW)

after completing, subIntention.txt only has 1 line

MSF: 00:01:74 Q-Data: 410100 00:00:00 00 00:01:74 0121

tested bin file for protection & errors:
ArayScanner2023, BurnOut1.03, ProtectionID v6.9.0 find no protection.
edccchk-v1.26-win32 finds 0 errors.

SecuROM should have 1 error? correct?

Dumped with CloneCD and bin, cue match DIC's so dump is fine but sub's incorrect?

Just tried latest test DIC,

You can get:

PS3 System - ?
Parental Lock Level - ?
Version - ?

from PARAM.SFO located on disc/inside iso PS3_GAME folder. Just extract.

You can also use the PSP tool "SFOInfo.exe" that also works on PS3's PARAM.SFO

Usage:

SFOInfo.exe i PARAM.SFO xxxx.txt

Hi, trying to dump an Apple Mac DL DVD. Tried a couple DIC releases & DIC released on 20180127 worked but latest version 20180522 & Test version 20180525 get mainError "Directory Record is invalid" and aborts.

Disc Images: https://my.mixtape.moe/fxdvbg.jpg

Guess these are Preproduction discs (Beta?). They are burned dvd-r's so don't have ring codes.

Hi, welcome. smile
The wii dat & database are currently only available to members of dumper status and above. You will get promoted from New member to Dumper after you submit a couple New Disc's / Verification's. Good luck! Also check your PM's smile

Yes, 3k3y Ripper Device is an actual piece of hardware. Also called 3Key Ripp3r PCB v1 (PATA) or 3Key Ripp3r PCB v2 (PATA & SATA)

Also a question on the protection on these games. A CD in drive is required to play, so protection is CD Check, or it that a given?

Trying to dump a new disc not in redump's db. Star Wars - Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast (USA) published by Cosmi Software. Purchased brand new.

Picture's of disc & DIC logs: https://mega.nz/#F!UP4wCJgK!4BcBoGTomFMnzuK4123Sxg

Think disc is bad but want to double check its not some kind of protection.

Was able to install & play. Tried to dump with DIC and getting c2 errors before aborts with

Created img (LBA) 76513/350592[F:ProcessReadCD][L:1489] GetLastError: 121, The semaphore timeout period has expired.

Please wait for 40000 milliseconds until the device is returned

Tried with command "DiscImageCreator.exe cd J: game.bin 2 /c2" & "DiscImageCreator.exe cd J: game.bin 2 /sf /c2 3 /d8 /ns /s 2" 2nd command found "Detected intentional subchannel in LBA -1 => SecuROM Type4 (a.k.a. NEW)" but no other program I tried found any protection, just disc is overburned (824,594,736 bytes).

Other programes that I tried to dump disc are:
Alcohol 120 (found no protection, so used default copy option) - 0 errors per edccchk-v1.26-win32
CloneCD with recommended settings - 3486 errors
CdManipulator with recommended settings - 2176 errors.

Both disc's are new with this version being published earlier per PVD than:
http://redump.org/disc/13202/
http://redump.org/disc/13203/

Just submitting in Forum because disc 1 has SecuROM protection and haven't figured out how to correctly submit SecuROM data. tongue

Question on Red Case Wii U games? Put it under Original or as other edition like Red Case Original? Asking cause I have a red case game with a different hash/ring code/key than gamecaptor has listed for an original game (blue case).

Also, .iso? or should it be .wud
