True. Ehh. I guess redump doesn't care about people downloading rare things like protos or demos of the internet? Only making backups?

EDIT: okay then.

Which system are you talking about specifically? because IIRC OneUp group just repackaged a lot of redump dumps and released them as scene.

Wii and GameCube is what I am used to. If a scene release were stolen from a redump dump, then it would be marked as such.

@Nexy
Why it relevant that you do not care about scene dumps? (Unless you are in charge, then I apologize).

@Jackal
I will. Though I am not so sure what is funny about suggesting database integration.

I don't really understand.

Are you asking how you should post some (re)dump info? Just post it here, if you don't know a better place.

Is redump's objective to only list known good dumps? Why is that?

Like with No-Intro's database. That way it can be determined which scene dumps are good and which are bad.

No.

I am referring to this to this:
Legend_of_Zelda-Twilight_Princess_E3_Demo_USA_Wii-iND (ind-legend-of-zelda-tp-e3-demo)

The DS card is just a video.

What about things that are unlikely to ever be dumped again (i.e. Zelda TP E3 demo)?

I gather redump doesn't subscribe to the "bad dump is better than no dump" line of thinking?

Thanks.

Removed Mario special disc from post. The wiki list for Japan wii doesn't have front-of-disc media serials. Could those be added from my post?

I see. I'll add them to Discs not yet dumped list.

Could I have a wiki account so I can do this (or could someone add them for me)?

[deleted]

Because there are some discs that will probably never be dumped again.

I suppose there isn't much point in preservation terms, if the source disc image is preserved. About no-intro, I'm pretty sure they do record those, they might exclude them from dats though.

I mean disc images that are contained in games, rather than on physical discs.

E.g. ones used in emulations/virtualizations.
