This is just a DB, it has nothing to do with torrents. This DB can't be held responsible for what people call their torrents. It doesn't host anything nor provide links to material. It's just a reference database.

Interesting question nevertheless. VCD is also playbale on the Amiga CD32 if you have a FMV cartridge, but I agree with GBK. It's nothing game related.

So, I got a disc with real dummy files. Two of the data files fill up about the entire CD. The audio tracks are legit and dumped correctly. EAC and PF one correspond. How would I go about with dumping the data track?I get inconsistent results with DDump. Can I use ISObuster instead? (replace sectors with zeroes?)

If you are still need to buy one, I suggest you get this puppy: http://cgi.ebay.nl/Amiga-CD32-Games-Con … 5d2ab28e06

You have a CD32 that can act like an A1200. Check the review here: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=33303 Together with Kyroflux your ultimate redumping machine.

I added the CD32 section. It's not complete yet, but it serves it's purpose. Hopefully some other members have any of these games so I don't have to buy so much on Ebay  big_smile   http://wiki.redump.org/index.php?title= … _%26_demos

If any pro dumpers could test this and report. I would gladly help expand the database.

Extract User Data (.iso)

The same option as I have. If anyone can tell me if that is correct I'll dump it. (I don't want to have a bad dump in the database) Normally you would use Extract RAW data

Can you check whether ISObusters gives you this option only when extracting? "Extract useable data only" It's not the option I normally use. Looks like my drives are not capable of dumping them. Need to get my hands on a Lite-On or Plextor then.

Can some of the "high council" dumpers shed their light on my issue?

I managed to make a dump using Daemon Tools in MDF/MDS format so it's definitely not damaged. It's a DVD-ROM. I have 3 drives:

LG HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH22LP20 PATA
Samsung TSSTcorp DVD-ROM SH-D162C PATA
And another Samsung DVD-Rom

Just noticed there is a 2.0 update for the LG drive, gonnan try that first.

I could try dumping it in ISO format using Daemon Tools?

Tried on 3 devices. Ddump doesn't work on any of them. Read command not supported or CD can't be read. Out of options here I guess. To bad.

DDump it is then. Will try when I get back from the misses. Thanks!

Got a MDS file (and MDF...game works as a backup), now to figure out how to get it working with an ISO of the game. ISObuster only gives me the option to "Extract useable data only" from the original DVD. Is this correct?

What command would I need to dump a Tages DVD game? I tried ISObuster but I only get the option Extract only useable data. (which is not the option I useally use for CD dumping) I have an LG burner and a Samsung drive (for my xbox dumps)

So I could dump the game using the securom method (ddump) and if I really wanted to play my backup I would need a MDS file, correct?

Awesome if possible!

This is how the formatting looks like:

<game name="Tekken 2 (USA)" index="true" image="t">
    <description>Tekken 2 (USA)</description>
    <cloneof></cloneof>
    <crc></crc>
    <manufacturer></manufacturer>
    <year></year>
    <genre></genre>
</game>

Index is first game of that letter / number. Image is the first letter / number of the game name. . The rest needs to be filled in manually I guess. CRC is not used at the moment. Here some example DATS: http://hyperlist.hyperspin-fe.com/

Would it be possible to create custom dats? I just need an XML with the filenames. It's a pain to edit them manually for use with Hyperspin frontend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LbtvmdR … re=related

Some Tosec dumps I have are ISO / WAV maybe it is possible to check if these dumps are the same as the redump.org dumps. Is it even possible to convert those to the redump.org ones? Would save me tons of collecting work.

Maybe you guys can parse new dumps to twitter? Comming to this site everytime to check new dumps sucks balls  wink

I stumbled upon this recently. Pretty amazing frontend. You start the emulator directly while choosing the rom. http://www.camya.com/eccblog/ Has a build in CRC32 handler en checks an online database for the latest information. (similar to the redump.org database) Register on the foum and get the latest WIP. Worth a try.

Just import your redump.org DAT file, choose the directory were your games are located and your are set to go big_smile

I have a DVD video game here Space Ace, works on all sorts of DVD players even xbox or PS2

How should I dump those? Just extract the 2 data tracks seperately in raw mode and that's it?
