I get one error when I scan the image with CDMage. I dumped it with DIC and PR, same error. It's at the end of the data track. It dumps fine. Is it normal? Disc has no protection. It's this game: http://redump.org/disc/15319/ but from a different region.

Yup, that fixed it.

Error logs are huge with the latest build. Like 1GB with a perfect disc.

*EDIT* Seems data only discs have this problem

*EDIT2* Seems to be the case with certain discs only

Apparently there is a way to dump those correctly as an image with the help of Daemon Tools Pro Advanced and a CSS plugin. I tried ISObuster, but the image is incorrect then. I you try to mount the image you get an emulator detected error. I was wondering if it would be ok to dump those with Dameon Tools Pro Advanced as an ISO image. Or should I still dump it with ISObuster and keep a MDS /MDF as backup for emulation purpose? The imgae can't be written to disc properly

I have not compared the two ISO files yet.

P.S. The old Plextor drive dumps the DVD in like 10 minutes. My LG drive takes 10 hours to complete. So the old Plextor still serves it's purpose even in the DVD era

EDIT Seems you can't set any options when choosing ISO. Both files are the seems and won't work mounted. I'll keep the mdf / mds file for personal use

Could be, I'll have to check to make certain.

CDMage reports multiple errors with DIC dump instead of just one. Isobuster, CloneCD dump reports only one error.

EDIT: It's Securom old indeed. http://www.encrypt.ro/cd-encryption/cd- … curom.html The three files exist when installed.

What does RC option do exactly? I tried dumping a securom 4+ disc and gives me multiple errors instead of 1

How do I know it fixed something? Or image is correct? CDMage does not report any error.

can't I just redump that track? discimagecreator.exe audio y: <start lba + end lba> 08 /c2 2000 8192 08 or do I have to do the disc all over again?

65

(3,526 replies, posted in General discussion)

What parameter should I use? Track 20 is the problem of this disc. Some other bad track eventually worked by cleaning the disc. Latest test build works fine here (first post)

Motormash probleem seems to be fixed in latest build. Image is being created now.

How to fix c2 errors by the way. Is it done automatically and how to verify it is indeed fixed?

@sarami Interesting read that article. Seems the drive can dump safedisc up until 2.8 without problems. (Read create a correct burnable image) does this mean emulation is required to run the dumped image from 2.9 and up? If so, which drive can dump 2.9 and upward correctly?

Hmmm....Plextools says it's an 708UF WIndows tells me it's a 708A. Firmware can be used for both. I cleared any third party virtuel drives. SPTD drivers are uninstalled.

Even if I use your parameters (http://forum.redump.org/post/48068/#p48068) I get the same CDB error.

If I use, 08 /c2 2000 8192 08, RAW mode is indeed used, but Motor Mash still fails to dump.

Speedread is indeed not supported according to PlexTools XL, so that explains the error.

What does "invalid filed in CDB" mean? I used this command to rip a PC CD disc: DiscImageCreatorTEST.exe cd y: D:\Redump.org\TFX 4 (using latest test version)
