F1ReB4LL: can you please open a new thread dedicated to subdump ?!

And keep everybody up to date whenever a new version is released.
Some closer explanation on changes and command line examples would be great as well,
those which you are using for example.

Thank you.

You can dump all discs you own and provide complete logs in Dumps section.

There are some submission examples for PSP, you cannot fail smile

The forum software has been updated to the latest available version. Unfortunately its development is discontinued
and this will be most likely the very last PunBB forum software update.

I think it depends on how they are presented on game disc and in-game.

Originally English named titles are not romanized.

If that text file is not placed at the very end of the toc, or there is no non-allocated space immediately after that file, you will have to re-allocate the entire toc beginning with that specific text file.

Sectors 18+19 for folders (20+21 also folders, in switched byte order), 22+ for files.

To discover different releases and or possible misprints everything taken from covers
(incl. disc label print, which contains the serial) has to be cataloged AS IS.

Can somebody confirm that?

Quick-search function updated to support hash values: CRC32, MD5 and SHA1

Here an example, discs with FFFFFFFF as CRC32 value

tossEAC, can't you just use isobuster? since you connect your ps3 drive with your pc it should also work.

Disc pages now show the combined CRC32 value for discs with multiple tracks.
Its shown close to the Total disc size value.

Even though "PlayStation the Best" is highlighted in bold and "for Family" is different coloured, they are placed close by each other and "for" is not capitalized, so that's probably a sign that they belong together and it should be okay to put both in edition field.

Hi there V.

Would be great to know whether all the information (total disc size, layer break value, etc. etc., in short everything that is used to dump a disc) was taken out of the actual disc properties, means that they aren't hard coded.

I don't have the time to go through your source codes and would appreciate it if you can list all the steps of dumping, so that we can announce your tool as the new one to be used for Xbox dumping. Thank you.

Numeric values only, no further explanation.

Did you run a disc structure scan?

Seems to be a SecuROM sector, which is causing this 1 error.
You can ignore it and submit your dumping results (include CDmage error log like above to your dumping submission).

cdrwin has very limited support, mostly ide only, directly connected drives, no adapters! (because of outdated drivers)

The remaining files are most likely hidden, activate 'show hidden files, folders and drives' in folder options and they will pop up smile

Isobuster doesn't show them as well if file hidden bit is set and your windows is configured to prevent those from viewing.

Seems to be valid for discs/layers mastered by IFPI LB48 factory only, not 100% sure though.

IIRC they are laser burned therefore should be part of the Mastering Code (Ringcode).

And i think there should be a [TAB] between both plus signs, as they seem to be there for alignment of the toolstamp numbers (auto focus for the machine when aching/stamping).

That exactly sector should be of mode2 therefore [02], so following is correct

The dat could store an id instead of a generic name. This makes post-processing with a datter mandatory for many situations so is not ideal, but a clone dat of any sort is good.

That's actually what i would prefer too. An ID would replace the parent and the issue with parent naming would be released to datter, which has to sort it out anyway.

We could name it <group id=""> or whatever you guys prefer to call it like, as i standalone tag or as suggested befor...

I would suggest, the <generic name=""> tag should relate to a specific Region order.

Multi-Disc Games, like Final Fantasy should merge all together to keep it easy and maximal compression.

Ecco, i think this is a matter of datfile managers smile

I have been asked to implement parent/clone relationships to the datfiles.

The ultimate suggestion was to add a simple <generic name=""/> line/tag, which would contain the parent's name/title. The whole idea is easy to realize, though, editing those fields would require some work and best of all extra edit forms, independent from disc edit forms, to keep the whole thing as easy as possible.

Therefore, before i begin with coding anything based on my mind i decided to ask for your ideas and suggestions on how to optimize the whole thing smile
