"acquired" does not mean that they have already been dumped.

I don't know, as for myself i see the REM element as a commented out CODE which would be usually at the exact same place.

the Track 2 pregap of 2 seconds is still unaccounted for in the cuesheet. How to define it, since it's not included in the dump? PREGAP 02:00 / REM PREGAP 02:00?

We don't use PREGAP command in our normal cuesheets. But regardless of that, using this command with or without REM addition within the TRACK command would be incorrect because the track file does not include the pregap data. IMO an additional REM command should be placed like that:

REM LEAD-IN 01:00:00
REM ...
FILE "dump (Track 2).bin" BINARY

But as what command exactly?...

We could of course increase the REM LEAD-IN value for that corresponding pregap length, but it would be technically incorrect.

Is there such a thing as "REM RUN-IN" ?

REM LEAD-OUT and REM LEAD-IN is still needed?

I would say YES. There is no guarantee that some discs won't be using non-standard ones.

is there a possibility of Redump releasing dat files with additional fields (serial, version)

If you want to have it, I can make it happen.

What will you do about discs which don't have a serial or version, though?

Both format is a little different.

I guess the one that F1ReB4LL said, but with an additional session1 line.

REM SESSION 01
...
REM LEAD-OUT 00:03:55
REM SESSION 02
REM LEAD-IN 00:02:00

I hope that I can submit the information (md5, CRC, etc.) that we found in the future that has not been included in the Redump.

seeing how they have manipulated completely all the information around their situation, they will probably come telling the community that Redump is now supporting DamonPs2 and use that as proof that these devs are legit. I dont want these guys to use our name under no circunstances.

@DamonPS2
Thus far we will rely on.
Please remember, we do not store nor share nor link any roms and isos in here, furthermore please do not contact any members in here asking for those. Giving you an account on our forums does not mean we are supporting you, this is hopefully clear. Other than that, welcome and peace!

@Other keen to debate members relating with topics like mentioned above smile
There are other forums where those topics are free to be discussed, but please... don't do it in here. Thanks.

Another topic: is it normal that for some PSX PAL demo discs, DIC reports: [INFO] This disc isn't PSX PAL. /nl is ignored.

I am assuming this has something to do with "SYSTEM.CNF" file.
Those discs may lack of "SYSTEM.CNF" file or the file lacks of "VMODE = PAL" value.

BOOT2 = cdrom0:\SLES_542.18;1
VER = 1.02
VMODE = PAL

Can you check which is the case?

Your user account is registered to the username "catlanx".
Follow the url above and recover your password, it should be sent to your newly updated email as requested in your 2nd post.

Yeah. This function should be similar across different scripts and is very fast in execution, this is why i chose on-the-fly calculation vs. storage. Of course it has the disadvantage that one cannot quick search for total crc32 values.

Even though it could be usable in some situations to have an extra table of "total crc32" values, like the quick search function, I am still not sure if we need that, just because one won't be able to compare the "total crc32" values of foreign images due to offset from uncorrected audio tracks.

Should your username be changed too?
In the 1st post you called yourself "catlanx" and in the 2nd "catalanx".

If the first variation of the username is correct you can recover your password and login.

10. Total CRC-32

I cannot do a database dump of it, Total CRC-32 is not stored within the database, its generated on the fly each time you review a disc page.

Because it should not skip any sectors besides those in ss ranges, i would say.
