Nothing targeted. They just arrived in that order.

Like I said there are no "missing" games since they have all been bought. Except for the handful you identified up there that was never on our miss list to begin with. They will be ordered next week.

Marc Ecko and THAW match "standard" version.

They are dumped a long with around 200 other games. But not added due to redumps slowness and general lack of interest in adding verifications (just browse the forum to see what I mean) Jackal have lately done an ok job on chewing of some off that backlog But stuff still remains that have been sitting there for ages.

1. Some of these has already been removed since they are in my posession and will be submitted soon (others have been bought but are still in transit). But congrats on finding some releases that was never on the list to begin with!

2. List the games that you found to be "Non existing" It can be good for cross comparing and also to be added to the Wiki so no-one else goes on a hunt for them.

3. Do also list the missing versions! I agree not all care about them but "We" hunt for completion.

Why make this harder than it is? All you need is a Plextor drive to dump CDs properly and with ease. No need to sit and calculate where data track ends and audio track starts etc.

Most likely just you that look at them as incomplete because of the yellow color and then get fixated onto it. While you should instead be focusing on the more important shit like the hashes for the isos themselves being correct.

The current no hyphen, hyphen thing is idiotic anyhow. Since we just take what is written on the disc. For more proper storage we should have disc, internal and box serials written down since serials on discs can be misprinted. And there are even discs that have the wrong serial noted on disc label etc it is noted as say UK release while in fact it is a Nordic release with a completely different internal serial number. There are also PS2 discs that have multiple EXEs on the disc. etc. etc.

And in PS3 we have games that are multi region with different serials printed on the label while the internal serial always is the same MRTC one or the XC series which are hybrid PS3/Vita crossover discs. All this shit should be stored as in a comparison to now but the admin do not care. The Q was lifted almost 6 months ago still nothing happens.

And your submissions aren't trusted anyhow until you can back it up with proof. AKA high resolution scans of the disc. And with this a moderator can lock a ring code as verified OK.

Prod Jackal. IBM-PC is his responsibility.

You do realize that dumper status doesn't give you rights to add anything directly? It gives you access to a form for submitting the games. A moderator still has to check through all information for the dump and after that it gets added to the database.

SLUS-20291 Is the internal serial number from the disc while SLUS-20605 is the serial printed on the disc surface.

So there is a possibility that there is another release of the game too.

Egen it is a Python thing... You need to talk to iklio and see if he feels like sharing it...

For the moment you can get it from here.

Yes.

None of the more experienced dumpers use tools like Isobuster and EAC. We have DIC, CDToimg_D8, Subdump etc. We also have a tool for PS2 that gathers most of the information needed directly from the image.

Sure you can. When using DIC copy the data from the .dat file that it creates and copy it into the clrmamepro datafield!

1. Exactly like that for those. Other EANs and UPC ones they want their own way with spacing.

2. Just add it like that. No extra stuff. If there are problems they will ask you anyhow.

Good. That is what I wanted to hear!

I will order a copy of the game myself. Just to get it verified. But since the hash you get now matches a lot of other entries in the DB while the hash given for Track 2 by Nexy only matches that entry it is very likely it is a bad dump.

Nexy would have used other tools to get his dump done. But no one is perfect and mistakes do happen. That is why the goal is to have 2 dumpers submit data from 2 different discs so that one knows for certain that the dump is good.

Track 1 matches DB now though? It is just Track 2 which has a mismatch?

Also just a Q. Not related to this but to your DVD of Evergrace and more to come I guess. You are dumping these on two drives right? And 1 not being the Plextor if possible. And then comparing the hashes you get against each other right?

Incorrect. From our guide. http://redump.org/guide/cddumping/ It shall be appended to the next track.

And two throw EAC in the garbage bin when you have a plextor and use DIC. EAC cannot handle 1 data 1 audio track discs properly.

Thanks for welcoming me into the community! However, I'm not seeing the reason why Wii dumps disappeared. :-\

Hello karasuhebi!

You're still a New member. After you have submitted one or several dumps, you'll (most likely) get Dumper status.

Try to follow the Dumping-Guides as closely as possible.
Then post a new topic in the Dumps-section of the forum if you have a new dump or in Fixes & additions if you have a verification. smile

Wrong! New dumps AND Verifications of discs already in the database all goes into the Dumps sections of the forums. Fixes and additions are ONLY for discs that you have already dumped yourself but might have missed some info on like maybe you did not submit the mould SID with your initial submission. Or if you found an error say the name is wrong in database or the version given doesn't seem to match.

Well. If you have a scanner. You can then scan both sides of the disc. That helps to make the information verified.

No. Languages has to be checked by changing the language in the PS2 bios. Since some games have language selectors in game and some have languages set depending on the bios.

1. You can ignore that it is for games etc that have a title attached to it for Example  C&C Red Alert Disc 1 is always called Allies and Disc 2 is always called Soviet. I do not think many people actually utilize it properly around here.

2. I provide them like this. "PDSS-008035A1    1    A08    IFPI L332    IFPI QW84    IFPI QW85 " Take notice of the tab formatting.

3. It is preferred if you check the lang yourself. But if someone gets a hold of the disc/image they can also do it...

1. If you scan the image with CDMage. You should have 0 errors in the image at least for PS2 CDs.
2. It is correct procedure.
3. Robo gave you Dumper status. This means you can use the "New Disc" page. And only have to put Verifications in the forum with a link to the database entry that it matches.
4. Yes mark any new/different info with red etc. That makes it easier for the mods to add your dumps.

It sounds like you only downloaded the file that has DIC.exe in it? You need the release one that has

DIC.exe
driveOffset.txt
EccEdc.exe
scramble.bin

in it.

The first error being the offset file missing and the second being the scramble.bin file missing.

If it is identical to the Samsung.

Should work nicely.

I personally would not invest any time into Kreons any more since they are obsolete. Better off waiting for FreeCell to get 0800 support instead. All we need to get for that is a coder with some spare time since the creator of it seems to have dissapeared into some haze.

If you look a bit closer on the front page you will see there has been between 50-100 new dumps in that time frame.

Lack of a active mod for the IBM-PC section is a more likely cause for it not being added.

A lot!? Nah just a few. wink

Maybe FB or pablo can go into more detail about the formats themselves...

But as far as dumping goes they are really not different to most.

You do cdtoimage_d8 dumps + subdump.
DIC in 2 runs done for checking on TOC Vs Sub desync.
Maybe verify with some other app...

And that's pretty much it.
