There's something strange with the 10th track in this game.
http://forum.redump.org/post/30885/#p30885 -- EAC gives 0x55d53fe3, PerfectRip gives 0x62e32722, now you submit the DIC dump with 0xce99409f. Weird.

Apparently, the sub-channel of 202328-202332 is broken, so perhaps main-channel is also broken. If the hash differ every time, it looks like puzzle bobble 4 of DreamCast. http://forum.redump.org/post/59656/#p59656

Or it's maybe a bug of drive. (maxoojc and painday1 uses PX-712A)

I try anothers drive.

48/24/48A : size="52014480" crc="20da7cd2" md5="b654c0e0332fffacd751146b126957c2" sha1="4db2d7112d14f319a679b3a1e5c93fee99ea536b"

I get different CRC with random drive and EAC / Isobuster (0x4958cde1).

Is there a way to dump it properly ?

EDIT:

This is what I get when I try to make further tests. Isos are from isobuster with different drive, wav are bin from EAC wav with different gap positionning.

Try this tool also:
http://forum.redump.org/post/44246/#p44246 - http://www.mediafire.com/download/9b31r … dtoimg.rar

"cdtoimg.exe h: new.bin 4", where h: is the drive's letter, new.bin is the dump filename, 4 is the reading speed. Dump it 2x times and compare the checksums, then extract the track, if checksums matched.

Sorry for the late smile

I use to dump many time with different speed and I get the same bin with cdtoimg, same CRC each time.

I try to extract audio but only get scrambled data, so this is not a good method I use, can you extract the datas and tell me what do you use?  I try to make a cue file but doesn't work.

Here is the file: https://mega.nz/#!88xShYaS!HRXqRfN829Fc … agk_nfDa5k

Yes, 0x55d53fe3 also, thanks.

Could you dump it one more time with the most recent DIC, so we could report about a possible bug to sarami?

Ok nice, could you tell how did you extract the track ?

I ll dump it with the latest but I have Star strike in it running from yesterday, there are strange c2 error on brand new disc, these are unlicensed game burnt on regular CDR, I will make a folder for testing and give it to you smile

Ok nice, could you tell how did you extract the track ?

You mean, how to locate the needed track's address inside? 32 samples (128 bytes) combined offset + combined size of the first 9 tracks => starting point, length => the length of the track.

Ok I see, I try to make the same with an hex editor but I screw the track instead of extract it ><

Then I dump the game with the new version 1.12.1 of DIC and got another CRC <rom name="MEGADRIVE (Track 10).bin" size="52014480" crc="ce99409f" md5="fc48bfa7ecab668cc5743fab7d763e80" sha1="0d36b6fc4633ecd04f3f35e38cd79aafc58a22cc" />

So not good

Could you upload the fresh logs?

It is uploading, everything will be in the New1 and 2 folders, try to dump it with different speed

I have a badly scratched disc of this somewhere i'll see if I can get it to dump.

I got this disc.

    <rom name="Amazing Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin, The (Europe) (Track 10).bin" size="52014480" crc="55d53fe3" md5="ce6609ba3fa5d0b80c522e241df0be15" sha1="8a0a0e6645f4b79daf0975b0ad8f89ffffb316fa" />

Subchannel was also fixed properly.

I try with the latest version you give me but the process get stuck at the descrambled phase. here is what I got each time, even with differents speed.

I also tried dumping by PX-712 you use, and I confirmed no problem.
If your disc has scratches, it needs to be polished. If not so, try to dump with different drive.

Ok I try with another drive despite the fact that my CD is neat perfect and I have a wrong CRC

I use the test version from the 2019-02-22
