Re: new systems to be added

F1ReB4LL: May as well add (Super) System 256, CPS3, Konami GV and the other disc-based arcade systems to the database as well even if no dumps are here yet, it's only a matter of time when more arcade dumps will start appearing. smile

Whilst MAME already has most of the games dumped and documented, it would be nice to have a proper database instead of having to go through the source code (besides, MAME's checksums for disc images are usually for the CHD files rather than the raw disc image, and they don't add the raw checksums in the comments).

Is there a mould SID code on the disc like PS2 games?

Re: new systems to be added

There are many dozens of CD/DVD/GD-based arcade systems, adding so many placeholders would be confusing.

Not that I can find.

Re: new systems to be added

I can add ALL disc-based systems you know, nobody will be confused by unused once, as they can be hidden from new discs list.

Just give me all the required information for each particular system:

  • CD- and/or DVD-based ?

  • Layers possibility (1 or 2)

  • Full system title

  • Company

  • System alias (ex. PSX etc.)

  • CDI format?

  • EXE/Build date field required?

  • FS ISO9660 or not ?

  • Possible protections?

  • BCA field required?

  • Header field required? If yes, header offset 0 or not?

PX-760A (+30), PX-W4824TA (+98), GSA-H42L (+667), GDR-8164B (+102), SH-D162D (+6), SOHD-167T (+12)

Re: new systems to be added

PlayStation 3 CD-Rom: Some system update discs were CD-Rom, Olof already dumped one, and I can get another.

PSP DVD-5: Along with UMD, PSP development also makes use of DVD-Rs. Since PSP UMDs max out at 1.6GB, they should all be DVD-5s. These will only plays on dev and test kits.

These only play on PSP Dev and Test kits (same thing?)
