Note this is my first dump in awhile so if I did something wrong don't be surprised. I added via New Disc Form too, but I couldn't get it to accept my dump due to it having "TRACK 01 CDI/2352" in the 2nd line on my cue. When I  changed CDI to MODE2 it accepted it. But that's not the way DIC spit it out. Also noticed it wouldn't run in emulator unless I changed it to MODE2 as well. What is correct?

MODE2 is correct.

PX-760A (+30), PX-W4824TA (+98), GSA-H42L (+667), GDR-8164B (+102), SH-D162D (+6), SOHD-167T (+12)

There are CDI and CD-ROM XA in mode 2.

http://totalsonicmedia.com/cuesheetsyntax.htm

AUDIO – Audio/Music (2352)
CDG – Karaoke CD+G (2448)
MODE1/2048 – CDROM Mode1 Data (cooked)
MODE1/2352 – CDROM Mode1 Data (raw)
MODE2/2336 – CDROM-XA Mode2 Data
MODE2/2352 – CDROM-XA Mode2 Data
CDI/2336 – CDI Mode2 Data
CDI/2352 – CDI Mode2 Data

CDI format uses slightly modified MODE2 sectors. CDI is correct for cues (MODE2 and CDI sectors have slightly different headers, they aren't the same), but db stores them as MODE2 sectors, so you need to change CDI to MODE2 when adding via the form. Can't say anything about the emulators.

Updated the cuesheet parser, it should now support CDI/2352 as well.

PX-760A (+30), PX-W4824TA (+98), GSA-H42L (+667), GDR-8164B (+102), SH-D162D (+6), SOHD-167T (+12)

Track type on disc pages should be updated, too.

C is a toolstamp, not laser-written, right?

Just that or is there one more single letter on the opposite side?

Also, could you post the DIC logs? I think you've submitted an incomplete .cue.

Ah yes that must be the tool stamp.

Yeah it only says MADE IN THE USA I don't see anything else.

Sure here they are -

Any chance for the Saturn and other CDI logs as well? Complete DIC output (without .img/.bin/.scm files, but with .sub, .cue and all the .txts) would be even more welcome smile

"Mould Code - IFPI 14111" for Minnesota Fats -- typo? "IFPI4111" on the disc?

Also, both Minnesota Fats and Blazing Dragons should have a 2-digits toolstamp, similar to that "C" on the CDI disc.

bump

Sorry was away for a couple of days. Took me awhile to see the toolstamps but I think they are -

Minnesota Fats - 12
Blazing Dragons - 12

I'll get the logs ready and post them shortly.

Here they are -

Also what's the proper format to choose for dumping CD-I Video CD and Digital Video in DICUI?

Here are the logs for Dark Fables of Aesop -

All the cds should be dumped as "cd", I think.

"Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia.7z", "Golden Oldies Jukebox.7z", "Jazz Giants From Big Band to Bossa Nova.7z" -- these weren't submitted (so I don't have ringcodes/barcodes/serials to add them).

Whoops, I fill fix that today.

Any idea why that log differs from this log? smile As far as I understand, both logs came from you? Or were the discs different, maybe?

Post's attachments

The Dark Fables of Aesop.7z 3.51 mb, 1 downloads since 2018-06-08

You don't have the permssions to download the attachments of this post.

Try to redump Dark Fables of Aesop with the most recent version of DIC, please, it should dump it in a little different (scrambled) format.

I think he has dumped the same CD-i Ready disc 2 times and got 2 different dumps. The difference is 9 bytes: 0x40781B6C has "FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 00 35 34 35 02 01 00 60 00 01 00 60" while 0xBF75007E has "FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 00 35 34 23 02 01 00 70 00 01 00 70". I think, "23 02 01 00 70 00 01 00 70" is wrong, but why did it happen? Same DIC version, same drive, no c2 errors.

Perhaps, I forgot updating the timestamp from 2018/05/07 to 2018/05/21.
I changed the way to get the timestamp in latest version.
