Hi, I'm new to the Redump project. I've been using it for about a week now to verify alot of my backups. I've been wanting to submit some dumps to the database, but I'm not sure I entirely understand what warrants submitting a dump. Obviously a game that is not already in the database should be submitted, but when does a game need more dumps? Is there a point where a disc doesn't need anymore dumps to be sufficiently verified? What do the different status indicators mean? I'm sure this information should be readily available, but I can't find anything despite searching the site and forums. If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
Welcome, bcrew1375!
You may find some dumping guides here:
http://redump.org/guide/

More info you may easy find on this forum.
What do the different status indicators mean?
Yellow - possible bad dump (must be redumped).
Blue - one dumper (must be verify).
Green - two or more dumpers (good dump).
I found the guides already. I've have to be blind to miss those . I couldn't seem to find anything about the colors though. I tried searching "disc status" and "status indicators" and got nothing. I realize now that hovering over the indicators gives a description of them . Thanks for the info.
