This website needs a Anti-DDoS protection to avoid slowdowns, server-side errors et cetera. I want to tell it from my side.
I posted Total War: Shogun 2 verification, and after I pressed "Post", I accidentally deleted the folder that contains dump data. It is the only folder that includes !submissionInfo.txt for the game. Since I already have the archive of the dump, that was not a problem but I don't include !submissionInfo.txt file on the archive because I already submit one with it. After that, the server has responded with "503 Service Unavailable"; and when I refreshed the page, I got an empty topic preview. It took me half an hour to recreate !submissionInfo.txt from the beginning; reading the logs, passing every ringcode... At least it took me only half an hour, it could have taken even more time, but think about this: I had to spend half an hour for no errors on my end. If there was a DDoS protection in place, I wouldn't have been encountered with error 503 in the beginning and everything would have been gone in place.

I could have been gave the disc to my friend in the meanwhile, trusting the submission process. I could have sold the disc, which probably has no way back to me. It is impossible for me to memorize every bit of the ringcode. Other informations, such as disc and serial number, are very easy to add to the !submissionInfo.txt by just copying from the Redump page (also, risk of adding false information is always available), but not every information can be added without the original disc.

I recommend to integrate Anubis, which blocks bot scrapers [as well?]: https://github.com/TecharoHQ/anubis - considering this website is getting nearly 2k guests (bots) every day, it would be a huge traffic profit. And if the root cause of the outage is not DDoS, which is very unlikely to me, please at least determine and try solve it.
