Hello world!

I am new to dumping and I am right now practising with trying to back up my original bought PC games, which are in varying states of destruction and/or even missing CD and DVD disks. While I am unsure wether dumping these would help anyone else I would like to at least have them as finished as possible for my own records.

I have found the Ring code guide and after reading it am still unsure of what goes where. There are a lot of numbers and barcodes in all the places.

Maybe someone would like to take the time to walk me through this patiently?

Currently working on:
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 1 to 4 from Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Complete (Europe)

Am I correct about the Ring code being

sonopress<tab>51342491/5003734<tab>S 21

or am I doing it wrong?

Redump does not take CD-keys. The serial for the manual (which seems to be 300020796) is useful, however. You may also specify the region of this specific release, even if in the database still figures Europe.

Based on the scans you've provided, the submission information for the first disc should probably include:

    Disc Serial: 30020792

Data Side Mastering Code (laser branded/etched): sonopress<tab>51342491/5003734<tab>S<tab>21
Data Side Mastering SID Code: IFPI LB47
Data Side Mould SID Code: (REQUIRED, IF EXISTS)
Data Side Additional Mould: (REQUIRED, IF EXISTS)
Label Side Mould SID Code: (REQUIRED, IF EXISTS)

    Barcode: 4 012160 346054
    Comments:

[T:UID] 300020788 (Cover), 300020796 (Manual)

UID is the site code for Ubisoft ID. You can find the special site codes here.

The distance between the "5003734" and the "S" is the same between the "S" and the "21", in my opinion. Given that a Mould SID appears in the scan of the second disc (IFPI 07S4), but not the first one, I'm going to suppose that it does not have it, which is also the case of another disc already present in the database.

Just in case, this disc is a verification of this entry, and once you're ready to submit it, you should do so via the Verifications forum, linking the entry with which your disc image matches.
