I'd like a forum account to post about reading the firmware from a Plextor drive. I bought a PX-716A and it currently has a 1.59 firmware according to ImgBurn with a 12/15/05 9:20 vendor info. I haven't been able to find anything about this version anywhere online and would like to make a backup and submit it for further analysis.
