Also I'm fine with whatever you decide to do with that Batman/Pure bundle. You're right, I can't prove the existence of a non-console version at the moment. And Ghazy, thanks for your input, but in fact I do own a bundled copy that has a barcode: Mario Kart: Double Dash!! which came with my silver GameCube. So I guess the absence or the existence of a barcode proves nothing, it can merely be an indicator.

sorry that i chop in. i think amarok is right, he showed you enough proofs.

all the games i own that came bundled with a console have no barcode at the backcover and on the discs is written in big fat letters "not for resale". the companies kept in mind that there will be people who sell their bundled games. that's why there are these indications, so that people don't complain if they got scammed by resellers. ( f*** my english is so bad, i can't express myself properly)
but when there's a barcode you can be sure that it's sold seperately too!

We know for sure that it's bundled with consoles.. but we can't prove that the copies sold in shops don't come from console bundles, or can we?

Okay, that indicates that this bundle exists both with and without the console included and that both bundles' discs are identical. Maybe you could edit the comments section accordingly, Jackal.

My LEGO Batman/Pure doesn't have a barcode, and it came bundled with the 360. Front of the box is the Batman front cover, back of the box is the Pure front cover.

True, as a person you'd probably do that. But I don't think a shop (apart from those re-selling used stuff) would.

Do any of these Xbox 360 console bundle copies even have barcodes? The Pure/LEGO Batman bundle belongs to a friend of mine, and it does have a barcode. He bought it separately from the console (new, not used). My LEGO Indiana Jones/Kung Fu Panda bundle, however, which came with the Xbox 360, doesn't have a barcode.

I was gonna sell it to. When you bought the console and don't want these games, why not get some extra bucks from selling them? But then I found out that dozens of people were already selling these discs too, so it's not worth much.. so it doesn't seem unrealistic at all to me that some shops are selling them.. It also explains why it doesn't show on places like amazon.

I still don't think these are leftovers. Why would the shop strip them from the bundle and sell them separately? After all, these bundled games are always specifically advertised on the Xbox 360's packaging so people would expect them to come with the console in any case

Of course I cannot guarantee I'm right, either. It just seems unrealistic to me that someone would take a bundle apart (and therefore decrease its value) to sell the games for 10 bucks

Ok I changed the Pure/LEGO Batman edition back, but mentioned the games in comments this time (doesn't look nice in edition). I didn't know it was sold without the console. I'm still suspicious about your links. This could just be some shops selling left overs. Why else would it be called 'Bundle Copy' if it doesn't come with a console?

so, first of all, for some reason my edition "Bundle Copy (Pure + LEGO Batman: The Videogame)" for both both LEGO Batman and Pure has been replaced by "Bundled with Xbox 360". This is not correct as the bundle copy can definitely be purchased separately from the Xbox 360 console (here, here or here for example), hence should stay in the edition field.

I really don't mean to criticize anyone but IMO you should always check with the dumper (if he's still on redump) before altering a DB entry, especially when replacing or removing things I really don't have the patience to go through my dumps all the time to see if someone meddled with them.

Furthermore, Der Clou! should internally be sorted as "Clou!, Der", I think.
