Greetings, and thank you for your time. My name is ALocalAreaNetwork. I am excited to join this community of video game archiving enthusiasts.

Over the years, I have developed a deep passion for collecting my childhood favorite games as well as some rare games I never had the chance to get in my youth. I treat it as my own way of preserving the integrity and history of video games. I have only spent a week in earnest beginning to archive my collection when I was directed to this site as it was a part of the Wii and GameCube homebrew community's source for reliable checksums of games.

As I have begun ripping my PS1 and PS2 collection, I have noticed some very subtle differences in some of my PS1 rips compared to those that are in the database. I was hoping that my data could be verified and determined if it is just a bad rip or if it potentially an undocumented version of the rips that could benefit fellow archivists.

By joining this forum, I aim to share my checksum results and discuss potential candidates for valid rips, allowing me to contribute to the growing database and help preserve the history of games. I am eager to learn from the collective knowledge of this community and to offer my own insights and findings.

Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to and growing with this community.

ALocalAreaNetwork
