If they differ in serial number and differ in checksum, serial number tells something. If you mean that SLES instead of SLED is odd because you could not understand by serial that it's a demo, I concern. But if you know it's a demo, it will be tagged as "(Demo)".
By the way, normally serial on disc is primary unless dump matches a previous or parent release.
