wikipedia is not always a reliable source of information
according to this, *only* hardcore versions were relesed in usa and europe

which is not true
the whole article is a bit hazy...

the only thing that can be taken from this, is that I want japanese DOA2: Hard*Core))

anyway, regardless of content, this version does not have 'hardcore' in title

Tecmo also followed up on the release of DOA2: Hardcore in the USA and Europe with the release of DOA2: Hard*Core in Japan. This last version saw some minor updates, including new cut scenes, a few new costumes, and a new turbo speed option.

It's not a 'hardcore' version
just "Dead or Alive 2"

as far as I know, 'hardcore' version was only released in usa

anybody knows what is the differences beetween ntsc, pal, and ntsc 'hardcore' versions?
