I am an archivist at heart and have always been interested in preserving media and contributing to databases. I recently aqcuired a Redump-certified Plextor PX-708A2 drive. I have a collection of game and music CDs waiting to be dumped and verified. I reside in Russia, and I think the local scene is interesting and a bit under-represented on the global front, so there might be some cool things I could help preserve. I am rather new to the technical side of the process, but I am eager to learn and ask questions. I have a few problems to sort out about my setup, so access to this forum would be very helpful.
